Till now I was absolute against SE and pro Samsung.But look, SE finally made a mobile that is not old before it was born.First time they do something new and release it on time too. promise, I buy it.Sorry Samsung

Comparing W880 and W850 ? Why ? They are made for another market. W850 is good, W880 is good too. W880 is just made for who want not only a mobile with a perfect MP3 player, but also a little bit design. Owners of 850 and 880 be happy, there are more worse mobiles on the market as yours.

honestly i'm just trying to be more exact in comparing these two. the W850 is more featurepacked cause it has more equipment than W880 and it's true. the three vital features in W850 that this one don't have are negligible for a music fan inloved with the slim designs. but others may be seeing that as lackness as i am seeing them also(though i don't criticize the phone and honestly i saw it already and have been amazed).

There is only 2 features that the W850 has over the W880:
-Infrared
-FM Radio
I would hardly call the W850 a more feature packed phone with only 2 features to more to boast about.

I got this phone yesterday. Very nice! I have the black/orange one, it has everything i need! i also have a Nokia E61 for business use. But this phone has everything i want for a personal phone, and its slim!

Its so hard to type a SMS! the keys are flimsy and so tiny and thin! The camera quality is alright, like other 2MP sony phones but theres no flash..
Its so hard to navigate, no flash, design is well, thin but very low profile and it looks ugly. Sorry to say but this is one bad phone from Sony Ericsson. Get a W850 or K800 instead.

i have an imate jusjar and u realise i have it all in one..i search for a second mobile and i find w950i..i thot that i found the perfect mobile for me but now i had a look on w880..i was wrong,this is going to be my second mobile!its great,nice looking and really good performance

I had a play around with one of these the other day. PLUS POINTS: Nice screen, great menu's, perfect size, good features, high memory capacity. NEGATIVE POINTS: Tiny buttons which are difficult to press, no autofocus, no flash/torch.
After considering the above, and after seeing the spec of the W610i, I think i'll be going for the W610i when that launches on O2 sometime next month. It has autofocus, plenty of memory and bigger buttons!!

if you fancy slim phones that comes out of the market today and willing to sacrifice some features you wanted then W880 is for you. but if are more of a feature centric users then stay with your W850.. both are just very good though spec wise W850. design wise W880.

Nice phone... i used my cousin's w880 and was impressed by it's originality.. it is as slim as an iPod nano... is a real eye-catcher...
and have a strange but good keypad... i wrote a SMS and they performed flawlessly... but the navigation keys(all the keys in the upper part) are somehow too close to each other... it sometimes happened that 2 keys were pressed at a time...
but the camera quality is poor... the image on the screen(while taking pictures) is not clear at all...
on the whole, it's a nice mp3 phone... got all the basics+ it's a W-series+ it's nice looking...

Im having W850. Considering W880. Seem beside slim. Nothing better than W850. Was it a bad choice to change to W880? any good adviser around? Lim

I had a chance to view this phone, its ok but I will like to see someone invent a phone that can be pay-as-u-go and on contract at the same time. Rather than having 2 phones i can have one mobile with two different useful function.
