Love the look of the fone. Same functions to the W800i which i had before, Missing the Flash & Radio. Also the buttons are so small, its hard to txt with. Wut i only bought it, cos it looks gud. I think its a quality fone and SE are the best fones out! Wud recommend the fone if u buy it for the style, but im sure there are better functions on some of the other fones on the market.

yeah its sexy, very slim.
hey its not the same as w850i.. alot of difference man.. no autofocus, no flash, and no FM, and w/ no fm radio how can you use the track i.d. music recognition? no sense having it...
if its women, i still like a woman w/ lot of talent, not just being sexy. w/ just being sexy? few capabilities? nevermind... i still choose W850i :)

i purchased this handset on saturday and it is exactly the same as the w850i which isnt a bad thing its just a lot slimmer and sexier, if it was a women id make love to it, its like comparing jessica alba with jo brand! he he
in summary go out and buy the phone it is very good!! plus it proves you can have a sexy phone and it lasts more than a week unlike the lg chocolate! swines!

The X820 is 6.9mm at its thinnest point, but the camera part is a bulge (which is around 9mm thick).
The W880 is much shorter and not as wide (102x46mm) whereas the X820 is tall and wide (113x50mm).

Wondering what the diff between w880 and w610 apart from the size... specs wise think w610 is better due to the autofocus in the camera... anyone have diff opinion?

Just ordered this handset. Got a funny feeling it's gonna be the same as past Sony Ericsson handsets. Brilliant features, looks size. Just hope it doesn't suffer from poor signal strength. Haven't had an SE phone since the W800 I somehow doubt things have improved since then, but seeing as it's such a sexy handset I'm willing to give it a go.
I'm still fairly certain though that it will have crap signal strength and by this time next week i will have sent the handset back. Fingers crossed that isn't the case. No excuse for poor signal strength !!!

Just got mine yesterday and I must say it is quite a suprise. I got it from http://www.omnicelusa.com/prod...o.asp?id=161 The size and feel is slimmer than the L7 and the features totally rule.

awsome phone
i am a consultant for a phone company when the rep came to see me about the new releases she let me play with the w880i and i thought the wow 9.6mm thick 3G phone oh it doesnt have fm radio who cares i would rather choose what i listn to anyway. it does have the play now function so you can pick what tunes you want to listen to anyway if you aint satisfied with 1gb memory card and why would a walkman phone need xenon flash and autofocus ITS not a camera phone its a walkman
overall this phone is damn sexy, light weight and feature packed 10/10 for walkman phones
ps cant wait for the K810i in the uk

W850 does not have auto-focus, screen quite dim and photos are not so sharp...
There is no attachments of xenon flash...
So far, best camera phone K800i rule..
Btw, best 2 mega camera phone is still K750i..
THis W880 is only difference is thin, others then that no auto-focus, no radio, etc..
For a good size phone not too small or too big.. just like K750 or W810 will be nice...

how nice is this phone, it may be very similar to w610i, but still its fantastic, dunt ya think?, i have w810i at min and i love the phone, i have been with nokia phones for so long bt the w810i took my fancy n ive fallen in luv with it, am deffo gettin this,,,, nothin gunna stop me lol ,,, hi evryone in barnsley!

the phone is gr8, its just like w810i which ive got at the moment, the buttons r a bit small but, am ok coz i ant got sausage fingers lol, it is a really gud phone, shame it ant got a bigga camera but its still gr8, really nice design, but i cant see point in brinign out this one n the w610 coz there identical arent they?? i sel phones evry day, so i know gud phones wen i see one n this is one???!!!!! oh n hi t evry1 in barnsley

I love SE,I wish SE make the difference between K and W series iis the built in xenon flash in K series,and Megabass on W series. Let both series have the auto focus. So far the W850i is the one have more features,coz it have megabass,autofocus,optional xenon fflash attachment,and 4Gb Memorystick Pro Duo compatible. sweet...

may i knw wad in the world is the ppl working in sony doing, sony is getting more and more lazy these day. after k800i no phone came out better than the last one look at w880 and w888 come on wads the dif wif w850i? no slider thiner ? sony should focus on more inportant matters like adding autofocus 2 3g walkman phone since w810i all walkman phone has no autofocus. no radio for w888? i mean come on Sony go see wads nokia doing. I personally like Sony but now of dayz sony geting bit bad. Sony pls wake up from the 2mp age is getting bored. here is a few sugestion for a new sony phone
- take a k800i add:
5mp cybershot
video recorder add least 640X480 or better
Fix video calling
add wifi
simple rite?????
