This phone is TINY!

Only 9.4mm thin, and yet it isn't wide or tall. Goto sizeasy.com and compare it to a phone like the K800 or even K750 and you can see the difference.

i dont know why all of you people hate this phone this phone is packed with features. all the phones with 5mp are so large & chuncky this has a 2mp cam, 3g, a2dp. come on think abt it how much have you used ur fm radio huh? i think i used mine once and that was in the store just to c if it worked. and all the people complaining abt 16 mb of internal memory so what you know if u buy a walkman phone your gonna buy a memory card and this phone comes with a 1gb card i think thats very sufficent.and it comes down to the screen size compare it to the phone do u even want a screen more than than half the size of the phone. it has walkman 2.0 and its as light as a feather. i hav a w810i nd my dad has a k750 we both have no problems what so ever so to anyone whos thinking of buying a new phone right now i higly suggest you purchase this one!

the price is around 350 usd in asia, i think the key dial is too tiny, i'm currently using samsung x820, but to compare this phone to Samsung Z370, the slimmest 3g phone, i guess i'll choose samsung over W880

nice design but the spec is not great enough.seems like w810 with a new look.
no autofocus is a weakness.
still can't beat w900i.

Y SE wanna put such small keys in this wide body? It make it feels like there so much empty spaces everywhere!

Make the key fatter or the body narrower should look better.

this is a nice phone....
but the next walkmanfone to be announced is the best of all walkmanfones...

Its a nice phone, internal memory is not a problem as it has expandable memory. The keys are bit funny to use as they are to small. Its a brillaint idea from Sony Ericsson and about time they started making the phones smaller.

Great designing! It weighs about 71 gr's. the thickness is less than 1 cm. But the screen is not wide enough. I think W610 will be a better phone

Samsung has got a very serious competition with SE, this phone, though not as thin as X840(Ultra 6.9) was the slimmest 3G phone for the world market(beating N76,Z720,Z560). a true record breaker from SE.

I am a Nokia fan, but impressed at how fast SE can get their stuff out, not like Nokia's 6 month wait for the N95

Music phone without FM radio? Shame on SonyEricsson! This is the reason why I never buy W880.

I love the looks of this phone but the question is if it is any better then the W800, the W800 is a great phone it has a great camera ( best when it came) super music features and FM radio etc.
Now why have they moved away from that great concept. Now i could get the K810 but that does not have the bigger memory. Or I could go for the W850 but thats a big big phone. But might just wait. Now ur thinking get a Nokia or a Samsung or a Moto? Your kidding they are not as good as the SE phones.. just got to find the model i like.
