I want to buy this phone but not before I test the loudspeakers (probably Ill test them tommorow in the shop).
My question is: Are loudspeakers loud or not loud? Some ppl here say they are not loud wheras the review rated it with 78 dB (the loudest I hav found till now?) however the reviewer says something different :-/
So is it loud now or not? I dont care if ringing isnt loud or sms sound isnt loud... I am asking about the loudspeaker performance when hearing music with Walkman Player 3.0. Do you think its louder than N-Gage? (Because I own one and when I buy something new I only want to see improvements) I am going to test loudspeakers tomorrow as I said but I dunno if it will hav any mp3 music on it in the shop. Anyway if someone can make a statement about loudspeaker loudness AND performance (I heard high and low tunes are bad).
And another short question: When using headset with 3mm Adapter does the sound quality get worse?

SE phones have a great user interfac with good build quality. I bought the W880i because I needed a phone that does not stick out of my pocket. The problem is that it doesn't suppport the 850 band so I always lose signal. Also, the keypay is much to small for a man's hands. SE is going in the right direction with the addition of the 850 band and bigger keypad, but why is HSDPA not supported in the US??? Nevertheless, I will be replacing my 880i with the 890i. I guess I'll stick with "EDGE" for now, and no more dropped calls!

The local SE agency (with the HQ) determines the price not the Country!!!!!
It will not take long to see the price hit a reasonable level ($250-$300).
And for the people who just want us to shut up - Sony“s business decisions effects the whole market!
It is also unethical to screw long time buyers just because the market suddenly expended or other reasons (oligopoly, price fixing etc.)
New customers are less knowledgeable and less experienced. (suddenly got lots of money)
While we are the ones made Sony a Global Powerhouse.
Think about the Pharmacology companies. Same story!

According to my request via an eMail to GSM Arena, the "Recorfing at 15fps", which was mentioned as one of its main disadvantages in its review part is resolved and omitted.

If those of you do not like this phone; or believe Sony is charging too much for it, then why bother wasting time here posting! ...Go look for something you like & can AFFORD!
This is not the phone for you, period!
