adiel,
did you know the w890 will also have the cool sensor to automatically rotate the screen view when holding the phone horizontally?
like the w910...
this is a great feature don't you think?

Secondly w810i and w850 both have 2 MP cam but w810i cam is way better than w850, I have taken truly amazing photos with that set, I am just giving this example to show how good is the cam in w810i. We will have to wait and see what w890 can do.
As far as w610 is concerned its again one of those sets which could have been so much better but SE again proves that they are not interested in making every set as good it should be. I persuaded my friend to buy a w610i when it came out..but he returned it after only 4 days...u know why??it has a TFD screen which looks much cheaper and is no match with TFT screen, battery time sucked thanks to its slimness, it can only zoom in VGA mode and as far I remember there is no landscape mode in camera..again a set that could have been so much better was ruined by SE stupid planning.

I do understand that different people have different preferences but I am talking about such shortfalls like giving 3.2 MP cam and skipping flash, I am not saying they should have made a 5 MP cam or 8 GB space or support for symbian OS or 16M colors...all I am saying that if they are providing a 3.2 cam they should have included flash because without it the cam is going to suck.
And about this set outperforming w810i...ha ha ha..I take it as a joke. W810i is one of that exceptional set that lacks nothing..bigger screen does'nt matter since its the performance that counts. Now w810i is the most "modable" set as I have about 50 flash themes installed, about 120 icon packs in my mobile, sound quality greatly enhanced, I can literally change anything I want in my mobile. Let's see what this mobile will be capable of when it comes out. Don't declare that it outperforms w810i because I don't think its that easy...believe me :)

Wonderful upgrade to the W880, the Quad band support is definitely welcome, along with the ostensibly better keypad. Does anyone believe it still might be too small? I hate it when my thumbs cramp from tiny keypads. Still a gorgeous phone, can't wait to get it here in the States!

to Adiel,
there will never be a perfect phone!
not for SE or any other vendor.
if they had a flash you would have wanted a 5MP resolution.
if they had a 5MP you would have complaint about the auto focus.
if they also had auto focus, someone else would want a GPS.
if they had a GPS you could alway ask for a bigger screen.
your w810 do have a flash, but it is 19.5mm. this phone is almost half the size!
if you want a flash go for the w610. you will have a flash and a phone that is a lot slimmer than yours.
this phone outperform your phone from any aspect except for the flash and is half the size. it is truly amazing :-)

I can live without autofocus but a flash is a must with a 3.2 camera. I know its a walkman phone but then why even give a 3.2 cam??Its a stupid thing to provide such good camera and then skip flash.
I am a SE die hard fan and own a w810i which I love but I don't know why SE just don't want to make a perfect set, I mean with exceptions like w810i,k750, k800,w960 and k850 all thier recent sets lack something essential without any reason. Its like they want to tease their fans by skipping one or two things that should be included. This set would have been so much better with a flash.

This phone looks good if you want a phone with better overall audio with a 3.2mp cam but lacks a xenon flash and auto focus.
Get a k800 or k810 if you don't really care about audio and more of a camera phone(CYBERSHOT), which comes with 3.2mp with auto focus and xenon flash, etc.
SONY ERICSSON rocks!

This looks like a very nice phone. Hopefully, the SAR rating is not high like the K850. It seems this phone is the next generation from the W810i which is a very good reliable phone. The only feature I wish it would have is 16 million colors on the screen. Of course, it would lower the talk-time but having more colors would improve internet experience.

what are all the complaints about the flash?
this is a walkman phone not a camera phone.
it is true that the resulotion is like in cam phones but this is just am extra/bonus.
about the screen size:
it is much bigger than the one on the W880.
it was improved so there is not need to complain here as well.
this phone is very small!!!
i think that for the size it is featuring greate. i am waiting for it :-)
it is designed for people looking for an ultra compact phone targeted for music.
for those who like auto-focus, flash or bigger screen - buy a Nokia N95, Samsung G800 or K850 and get a big phone with all the features you can think of.
