ma w900i.wen i use ma bluetooth its does not normaly come?why and wen its comes too it tells me ma memory is full up ?whiles ma memory is not full.is it software or hardware problem or what is the problem plz tell me now
Video quality awful? That's because the horrible video compression. Mine works like that as well, looks nice when recording but blur and very pixelated when I play it back. It's not something you could fix, basically. Cuz it's the way the video encoder encode the video. I'm not sure what's their motivation to this, but one possible thing is that they want to make the video size smaller. My K850i has less compression than W900i's despite the same specs (QVGA@30fps) but the size is twice larger. I was kinda disappointed about it too, but it's something you have to live with if you're using W900i. It's definitely not hardware problem, since every W900i works that way (check W900i video online if you are curious). But if you really want to increase the quality somehow - I've tried it and one thing: you have to do recording in very bright areas where sunlight can burn your skin. Among SE handset that have QVGA video resolution, W900i came out to be the one that have the worst compression among 2 others (P990i and K850i) so far. I'm not sure about the new C series tho.
Hope that helps.
You just have to squeeze your phone...i've had just the same problem...i've squeezes it few times and camera works solid now...(better the before) xD xD xD
AC, 02 Jul 2008it seems a bit better then before but when i go into camera mode there's alot of fuzzy lines ,... moreI'm in doubt now. It could be a software problem, but I think it's a lose connection between the camera sensor and the mainboard. You could try opening your W900i and see if the camera is connected properly, but I have no idea how to dismantle a W900i. Anyway good luck fixing your W900i!

i think this phone is class and i really want to......... i think im goin to get it
I had the phone before and IMO the swivel structure would be something you need to get used to for the first time if you want to like the phone. If you get used to the way it moves using it is a breeze. For me, after about a month using I am able to open, close and rotate to get the orientation right with only one hand - in which I think to train yourself to be able to do that is necessary cuz your other hand won't be always vacant all the time. Most of the time it won't be a big deal but sometimes the need to keep rotating the phone to get the orientation right if you're texting frequently might get in your nerves. Rotating out and closing could sore your hands abit at times. Overall it is a really good phone though size-wise abit bulky. Design is sleek simple and attractive (IMO), keypad is great, extra internal memory is definitely a plus, speaker is quite loud and crisp, camera though outdated can be considered feature rich with AF and flash, good camera quality (comparable to K750), video is good for SE phone (QVGA 30fps). Drawbacks? Screen quality is bit below average, low frame rate when running GIF images, abit tight in the pocket kinda hard to pull out if you have smaller pocket, horrible video recording compression, unable to speed-texting with only one hand (d-pad and keypad placed afar). If you can stand the size and structure and have no problem using an outdated phone, this phone is for you. Personally I changed mine with K850 after 2 years cuz I like SE and that was the only phone worth changing from SE if you have W900 before.
Well, guess that was extract from my experience in using the phone. Hope that helps. :)
Can you change this phone's version of walkman player to 2.0 (the one with ID Tag recognition like the W850i have?
Is it true that it's a bit laggy when it comes with FLASH Themes?
The Death Card of Sony Ericsson. Couldn't find any better believe me. 100% value for money.
Too the guy asking about the FM radio, it only pops up when u insert the original headset that comes with the w900 the radio is integrated in the headset not the phone itself
hi! id like to ask where i can find the fm in dis fon? i can find it =(
Great, solid, reliable phone. Had for years, spilled coffee, water, on it. Drop it (hard). Still going strong!
can we install software in any w series phone....like Nokia phones...i mean with .jar and .jad files.......
my cousin had this phone, and although bulky, the features in the phone 'over-ruled' its size. i thought i wasnt very big and compared to my p990i it was much more sleeker. its just when you swivel it its pretty big in its 'structural' length.
