whoops.. some more from me for invincible ~^^
1. It is confirmed that the video resolution is 320X240.. get ur fact rite before saying, IT IS NOT 176X220
2. N90's Carl Zeiss lens is already confirmed as FAKE. GSMARENA reviewed the N70's camera and they said it is BETTER than N90 although it doesnt have the Carl Zeiss lens. After all the Carl Zeiss lens in the N90 is just for market gimmick onli.
3. N90's 20X digital zoom is USELESS. U barely see anything with it. The best digital camera will not feature the digital zoom, even if they have, they are only up to 2X digital zoom only.. in fact, it never been used in practice. U will only use the optical zoom (unfortunately both phones still has not yet has the optical zoom).
4. both fones are 3G.. just like the guy before me said. They are equal (unless ur country does not support 3G)
5. N90 can twist and turn.. yea rite.. drop it from 1 metre height and u already lamenting ur fone.. That fone is absolutely fragile
6. i dun think that N90 can provide memory more than 1 GB (is that the limit for the MMC?) but with this fone u can have more than 2 GB. And the music quality is definitely better than the crappy-pathetique sound of N90.
7. Vibration.. well u might say that i shldnt bring this topic up.. but really.. what is the most important feature of a phone apart from the ability to make call?
The fone has to be able to tell u that somebody is calling u at any time!!! vibration held the main function for this. And guess wat? N90 miss it!!! wats the point of buying a fone?
8. I know that this W900 will be more expensive than W800.. but i believe this fone is still CHEAPER than N90--- this end the story of N90. The only nokia series that can compete with this fone will ony be the nokia E series. The new nokia fashion series dun even give any thread to K750.
9. The fact that you came all the way to this forum to say that N90 is better than W900 shows clearly that W900 threaten N90 to its death.. and it already happen ~^^ good bye N90.

great job aparadectos.. but next time dun even bother the invincible.. he already been looking for trouble in N90's forum and W800's forum and he keep insisting that N90 is best fone of the year of 2005 and 2006 which is IMPOSSIBLE and WILL NOT EVEN HAPPEN!! Just look by a single glance, there is no way N90 will defeat W900 and we all knows that.. even among nokia's fan ^^~ I already heard so many ppl complaining about nokia's new fone and they started to praise sony ericsson and they realise that NOKIA.. NO LONGER KING. SONY ERICSSON is the NEXT GENERATION FOR THE KING.

Nokia N90 is much better than this phone
-N90 has carl zeiss optics while the W900 has a cheap plastic lens
-N90 is a symbian phone and the W900 isn't
-N90 has EDGE and W900 has GPRS
-N90 has 20 x zoom and W900 has only 4 x zoom
-N90 video (352 x 288 pixels) W900 (176 x 144 pixels)
-N90 can twist and turn, W900 looks like a brick
-N90 is the phone of the year 2005

Nokia puppy try not to be so ridiculus:
-tests on every site prooved that W800's ceap plastic lens make better foto's than ther fake Carl Zeiss N90 has and W900 will have even better cam than W800
-Java is more mature and easy to use than Symbian,SE knows better as it was the first company to use it
-both phones are 3g,u arguement is pointless
-W900 8x not 4x focus,
so as N90
-W900 has a 2.2″ 320x240 (QVGA) 262k color TFT screen much clearer than S700
-there arent any detailed official numbers on video resolution,but definitly not only 176x144,
estimations report double that,
but the sure thing is it has the best frame rate at 30fps
-i think u get it wrong look again on their dimensions to see who the brick really is,
(hint:the one wich must twist and turn to enter ur...)
in case u dont get it,
i ll giveanother hint,
i mean the one without vibration:-)
If N90 is the phone of 2005,
then the W900 is the phone of 2006,
invincible u have been beaten,

looking at the photo it fat and more like a mp3 player than a phone will need big pockits for this one not that nice to look at as well not for me will find one better and not as heavey to have around

Don, it can record as long as u have memory in ur phone or in the memory stick pro duo.I have the w800 , and i donīt see any news abou in this

this is the coolezt phone i've ever seen. no nokia is better than the w900. i'll surely buy it when i'll be available in stores cuz it's very good

Does anyone know how long the SE W900 can record video for?(eg-Nokia 7610-10 minutes) Anyone please..Oh and I think that the N90 is an incredible phone..dont diss.

Get the Sony. Beats the Nokia 6280 in every sigle department. You can do a handset comparison on this site (click on compare which is just under read opinions on the specification page for either phone) and when the 2 specs are on your screen side by side you'll see that there is no comparison. The design, camera, memory, battery power, accessories, video, its all in Sony's favour. The only thing listed in the Nokia's favour is EDGE, but the Sony uses 3G for data transfer so this wouldn't be a issue anyway. W900i rocks mate, I've used it's little brother the S700i for over a year and its been a great great phone, best I've ever had, and I seriously can't wait for the release of this badboy! (even though it probably won't get a release till early 06).
Nokia are losing their grip fast cos people are realising they mass produce overpriced unreliable tat. Sony however is a trusted brand that has got where it is today by producing good quality kit (except for the T610 and T630, but the less said about them the better!)It'll take a special phone to stop me buying Sony's anyway. Hope this helps.

It realy is such a cool phone although ...does the data speed matter alot..i meen wot is it used for..like calls or sumtin??and also for the ringtone.. wots the channels meen??im lukin for a phone wid alot of memory and good sound quality for Mp3 also a good camera with a long video capability..can anyone help??

In the last 5 years i changed at least 10 different phones(Nokia,Siemens,Samsung...)and before 6 months I both first time in my life a SE (k750i).That's just a great phone in everuday use(calls,photos,radio,bluetooth)for the customers that don't expect fast PC from their mobiel phone and a lots of stuff that you almost don't use in everyday life.
Nokia phones are too expensive for ordinary people,with not so god camera and desing is poor in last couple of years.
Next year I probably buy SE with new contract
and Moto V3x or Samsung D600 for my girlfrend
because their desing is something special.
People can also seen on the European streets
this year a quite more SE than in the last few years in comparation with Nokia.That fact speaks for itself.

The phone is just amazing, and i just find it hilarious when people consider the Nokia N70 and N90 better than this phone especially in terms of cam performance, well the Nokia phones may have Carl Zeis lens but thats just the name, even if u read the comparitive reviews of Nokia phones with Sony Ericsson K750i/W800 the Sony Ericsson outclasses them, just read the review currently on homepage of the website for reference. Sony Ericsson rules, the only thing now Sony Ericsson should do is move to the 16 million or higher screen colors, I had an S700i and that was outstanding, true to every word of the review a real champion, and W900 is a good upgrade on it, looking forward to it,
