as far as my opinion goes i think its an awesome phone the camera will be CLEARLY much better than the nokia n series coz any1 whos used dat phone will realise dat ...a thing dat worries me might b the price tag if its as competitive as the w800 then its like mobile heaven.well i just was wondering dat for a 3g capable umts phone its data speed is kinda slow ?is the figure correct/ i mean 32-48 kbps is slow for a 3g umts phone and as for its size itll be part of its appeal though i wouldnt recommend it to a corporate guy .its best for a real carefree funlovin type like me :)

Nokia N90 is much better than this phone

N90 has carl zeiss optics while the W900 has a cheap plastic lens
N90 is a symbian phone and the W900 isn't
N90 has EDGE and W900 has GPRS
N90 has 20 x zoom and W900 has only 4 x zoom
N90 video (352 x 288 pixels) W900 (176 x 144 pixels)
N90 can twist and turn, W900 looks like a brick

N90 is the phone of the year 2005

Its a same to compare those phones since they arent in the same class,
3g vs edge everybody has his opinion,u sould chooce by ur self on that,
the display SE has is always a little bit better than Nokia's
W900 carries one of the best screens SE made so far(resolution)
it will be much better what a medium to good Nokia may offer(3250),
on memory if the 1 vs 2 and (eventually 4gb) doesnt make the dif 4 u then think about the 479MB of internal memory W900 has,
that means u wont have to invest any money from the beginning and may wait till the mem crds become even cheaper,
on camera W900 is going to be even better than W800(one of the best cams in the market)and the W800 cam is better than 3250's,
the feature battle is somewhat balanced W900 wins again,
on the battery sector u sould already know SE has no opponents,
this is not an exception to the rule,
the design and style is smth v.personal u sould decide,
i like both of them
and finally about music W900 wins hand down as its his speciality,
no other phone can be compared in this sector,if music is the thing that matters more for u than u dont have much to think about...

y prefer de w900 de mem is up tu 2GB de nokia is up tu 1GB
de cam. are de same.. but de w900 1632x1224 and de nokia es 1600x1200...
also.. de w900 has infraport..
I prefer de sony ericsson.. FOR ME HAS A BETTER DESING..

yo people, can somebody help me out, i don't know which phone i should buy, the nokia 3250 or this the SE W900I, they're both great phones which r yet t o be relesed but i can't make my mind up, can someone list the pros and cons of each phone AND BE FAIR, don't give too many pros to se w900i and cons to nokia 3250 vice versa, so i hope many of u out their will help me into making my decision

I'm happy that the mechanism of s700 is good.The same for the mechanism of v800.I did't say(for v800) that there is a problem,I just said that it is very fragile.Till now(I have the phone for 6 months)is as it was the first day.BUT from the first day the mechanism was fragile.This just has broken the feeling of reliability.Nothing more.
The last Nokia I had bought was 6210(5 years ago)I will never buy a Nokia again.

SE menus rule.first class phone right here.Only REAL issue would be it's weight but if you see yourself with a 2MP WALKMAN cardslot bluetooth 3G phone that's something you can easily overlook.So what,it's a bit bulky,but YOU and EVERYONE ELSE will love it :)

I dont know why anyone would have a bad opion of this handset. It has everything you need ie. Massive internal memory (NOT TO MENTION EXPANDABLE) brilliant picture quality and loads more to offer. The only small downside I could possibly think of would be the ease of navigating the menu facilities. However-not really a major concern.

yea, maybe 5 years ago nokia still can own handphone market but now
SE is getting better and better, and soon samsung is coming up too
so if i get W900i or Z800i, i wont regret with it but if u ask me to get N-series i will !! :D

does is support normal headphone jack... if so, then wow... and if not... shame... better to use w800 than this potato like big phone...

Funny you should ask, I've had the S700i for just over a year now and I can honestly say it's the best phone I ever had. The opening mechanism is still as strong and sturdy today as it was when I bought it. The only complaint I could have is that after a year of heavy use the silver laquer has become scratched and scuffed making the phone look very untidy but the inner workings of the phone are like the day I bought it - spot on. And the W900 is available in black so this will eliminate my one and only complaint. Before this phone was announced I had decided to get the N91, simply because SE didn't look like they were releasing anything to rival it. Now this baby's coming Nokia can keep their undoubtedly overpriced Nseries. I'm sticking with Sony.

hrmm this phone is definately 1 of the best phone when it comes out.. nokia's L'armour = for filthy rich ppl.. dun use the L'aRmour to compare with this phone.. anyway this phone got almost everything u need.. but i hope SE can make a smaller 3G phone with everything that w900 have n i will be the 1st to buy it =]

I never had a phone other than a Nokia. Needless to say that i am a Nokia fan. But this Walkman option in a mobile phone is superb. SE is now far ahead of anyone else. Now i think its time 4 me 2 try out a SE phone. Wish it had symbian OS since i am a heavy user of applications. Although this phone is real heavy, even heavier than my Nokia 6600 but thats ok. U tend to get used to the weight once u start using the phone. 2 cool of a phone 2 pass up. Big screen with 3D gaming!! My goodness! It doesnt get any better than this. Just hoping it wont cost an arm and a leg!!! Otherwise i'll stick with W800.

harry wat r u talking about, the w900i can hold up to 4gb and u can buy loads but the n91 u can't, because it has an internal hard drive it's more fragile so if u drop it bye bye phone,also it has no infrared or port port connector- i mean what's the point in that- SE gives u ripping software especially for their phones,it has no flash, also metal phones rust quicker although it is a nice feature to have on a fone and also WHO CARES ABOUT INTERNET!!!!!, i bet most people don't even use the net on their phones, i certanily don't, i only use it to see the news using a 2g sim, nokia are far behind the fashion of mobiles, the new range they've got out, wat the heck is dat all about and their intrnal memory is always crap, 10gb, is dat it, SE is ruling the phone market, mobile phone companies learn from their mistakes and try to improve but as u can see nokia aren't, and nokia have made their phones harder to use- why because their user interface keeps changing, it'll be 1 design for 1 phone and another for another, a user interface is like a trademark for mobile phone companies which when u see them u instantly know it's them and u no wat the nokia n91looks like cheap metal doesn't it, nokia losing its touch rapidly, i fink very soon nokia will be out of business if they keep going at his rate so how u can say nokia is betta than SE is stupid
