this is a vey cool phone, bet its gonna cost a lot of dough man. i wonder how will the battery perform if it is used aggressivly as i am a very hardcore user

The price of this phone will be 480euro, slightly more expensive than the w800 when launched.
The UI of this phone is fast, although using the memory card is sluggish. The screen is vivid, more vivid than the S700i it replaces.

thats another great phone from SE. great design and features put se phones on the top.there is simple answer why. Made in Japan with swedish precision. I ve got s700i and p910i so u can guess what next mobiles will be taken on new contract next year. yes W900 and P990. they got everything what i need esspecially outstanding screens, mp3 player,umts,wifi,2mp camera,large memory,symbian,high quality finish and many many more...nokia can go home with its bricks and cheap plastic phones...they cant make phones in that style...SE rules!

Lovely phone!
I like that all 3g phones are large
Large means: loud ringers and loud earpiece!
Large also looks like a man's phone!
I hope Sony will continue this style tradition. Now we have two normal Sony phones already: s700 and w900
KEEP IT UP-SONY!

Hey all of u out there that say SE can't design the phone better than Nokia. All of u r wrong man... yo is SONY design ERICSSON engineering, Sony has some good design out there and i think that the w900 look better than any other Nokia that they have announce. SE rock

yea i know i can get it unlocked with cingular.. but it would cost soo much! cause i usually get a discount w/ a one year contract.. this will probably be like .. $700... and i dont have that kind of money.. i was looking forward for this to be in cnigular and be like $300.. then i would probably get it (still expencive for me... haha im not rich) I hate US gets the low end phones... but yea i want to live in europe where they get the best phones.. i heard in china the phones that are really expencive here are like almost free over there and that plans are really cheap and like everyone (even the poor) have a cell phone... so odd haha, but i can see that.

I am wery interested it those earphones bicouse W800 is with 3.5jacket but these...
I don't know but i think these dont hawe 3.5 jacket.I wounder how is about SE recharching?

its such an great mobile.before the announcement of w900,i understood that se is just making good imaging mobiles and there were some lack of functions related to net and some negative points of its camera(video recording).There were also some other factors which decrease the popularity of a phone like some phone are good in taking pictures and playing media but they dont have bigger memory and lcd and if some one has these things then others are missing.Now they have presented such a device in which all the functions are combined to form a device which can't be competed.just two things are still missing the data speed is not much and wi-fi.otherwise its an astonishing presentation by se,nice job se for producing such a splendid phone.

I Love this phone, I don't care if it has symbian features, because that just brings more problems to phones, it has every single useful feature you could think of and 470mb, only a fool would by a memory stick for it

This is what I'm talking about the SE W900 has at all poor thing does'nt have EDGE and OS but SE tries to improve it in the year 2006 much phone will be released, much more better phones in terms in Performance, Design and Features...that's I'm looking in SE next year.. Go SONY ERICSSON...

first of all, wow theres another red in here other than me. loL!
anyways,to the guy below me, the guy talking about cingular and w600, dude, u can get this phone on the net unlocked and use cingular. i use cingular too, i live here in vegas and im thinking of getting this or the p990. since it has wi fi.. woo hoo free internet! loL! but that wont come out until 1q of 2006. so i might get this instead. we would see. coz nokia's sound quality sucks. plus this has a big screen and so does the p990
