for all those peeps who r sayin this phone is big n heavy they r wrong comon guys its same as s700.im using s700 n i dont think its big.w900 is even sleek thn s700.one of da best cell phone till date.se rocksss nokia suxxxx.

ah yes.. this phone is HUGE indeed.. but overall its the best.. dude if u dun care about the weight n the size.. from another view.. this phone got good internal memory.. and it can expand.. moreover u can listen to ur mp3 ezier than w800.. they got the device for u to choose ur songs n which songs u wan to jump to.. and it is a combination of 3G phones / w800 / s700 / a good camera!! i definately buy it if it comes out at the end of this year 2005..

any1 can tell me how about the video record?
can record until an hour? if cannot I buy w800i coz more style. just dont have 3G and others minor feature. This too huge.

I agree with No Legs. The opinion before you was really stupid!!! Even he / she didn't put the name!!!!! I'm using SE S700i and SE J300i now and still loving them very much!!! SE W900i is really a breakthrough for mobile music phone! With whooping 470MB internal plus memory stick pro... Maybe this phone is too high tech for... Stupid Persons!!!! Hahahahaha!!!!

Ref that last comment about the phone being stupid!!
Sony ericsson make the best handsets on the market at the mo and your bad mouthing them, but yet your buying a w800???
What part of this phone is stupid??? it's giving you more than most phones offer and as it is 3g so it will come in larger then a standered phones!! so go in to a dark cornor and have a word with yourself!!

this stupid mobile my GOD this phone is so stupid.i was going to buy se w800i but i thought to buy new w900i just heard from someone thar its new,if sony ericsson will continue to make these stupid phones they have to close thier company.iam buying w800i.one more thing its veeeeeerrrrrrryyyy big and doesnot slide.

am about to buy samsung d600 this month. its good i often check this site for updates!!

Sony Ericsson says this phone will be available b4 end of 2005. "The Sony Ericsson W900 will be available in black or white during Q4 of this year in two versions - the W900i for European, Asia Pacific, Middle Eastern, and African markets, and the W900c for Mainland China (pending the availability of 3G services). Pricing information is unknown at this point.."

i read in another site that this phone is a swivel type like the s700.

Sony Ericsson don't fail to amuse me with innovation. The built-in shared memory and talk time makes the Walkman feature really worth the while. But I wish to know if the phone is side slide like S700 or up slide like the Samsung Smoooth Slide.

I have some few qustion.ans me plz

1) IS the video record is no limited until the space full?
2) Is will be lag if I expand to 2 GB?
3) Is any1 know the 3G cost if i use it?
4) Is the hp look old style? for me is a bit compare to w800i..aiks..if got video record in 800..im sure consider to buy that 1.

hey to all guys complaining about the weight of this phone, are u telling me that for a mere weight of 148g, you are jus being too weak to hold it?? come on, heavy so what? or maybe im just being stronger than u all..

the W900 seems really hott i myself have used the w800 and now the 900 is coming out cannot wait for this it has every same feature but just 3g well yeah

I just read that the phone records video in a 30fr/per second quality!

WOW. Sony Ericsson is now on the same level with Xcute mobile.

If you need a lighter phone , then buy a toy-phone k750 ( with a volume quality that you can't hear a person even in a medium loud environment) or better of all a fake toy cell. phone that is being sold in toy stores fo babies.

Finally we have a second Sony Ericsson phone (first one was s700), that looks like a real phone-not a toy!

Great design, and great functions.
Great job Sony Ericsson.

Hopefully w900 will not have any software issues and will get the same high rating as s700 got (most of the Sony phones have some issues, and low volume due to ridiculous small size).

Anyways good luck to Sony Ericsson w800!
