*Sigh* not again SE.
I have the same problem with the W900 that i had with the S700. It looks promising till you realise it's the same as other phones in SEs range.
How is this any different from the W800 and W550? All 3 of these phones are nion carbon copies with a few minor differences. W550 has no camera. W800 has less internal memory. The w900 has...internal memory and a fancy badge.
yet again nothing innovative. Phones becoming available in the next few months are the next generation of handsets. Yet all SE has produce so far are clones with fancy badges. yes the W900 is an improvement on the S700 in almost every way. but it's not cutting edge, it's not ground breaking. it's simply an upgrade.
The only 2 phones i have any intrest for currently, are the P990 and the Nokia N91. Everything else is the same old pap with a few upgrades and a fancy exterior. this may be enough for a lot of people. but i want new technology, and this aint it.

You say wonderful features but too big.
You'd like a smaller phone.
Well, if you need to bring everything with you for a travel, your backpack must be very big.
If you can leave something not very necessary at home, your backpack can be smaller.
The same for mobiles.
If you want everything in your phone, it will be bigger than normal ones.
It's the rule. If you don't want a big mobile, buy a normal phone.
However, phone, camera and mp3 player cannot fit together in your pocket, while this phone (or other all in one handsets like N-series, Sharp 903,...) can.

You may save 500 names and you may add 5 fields at everty name, so you may add 2500 numbers...

there should be an extra 199 capacity on most modern sim cards so you should have close to 700 entries by the end of things. only issue you may find is that most ericsson handsets will only let you view one memory at a time, so you will have to swap between to find certain numbers.
hope that helps

All i can say is...I am very impress with what SE is putting out so far. The K750, W800, the P990 and now the W900. The first two had been bestseller so far and I believe the last two will be even better seller. Now, i would be a nokia fanatic to buy nokia phones when SE is putting out phones this good. It will be a hard-sell for Nokia especially with their ridiculously high priced- N series not to mention their below average resale value. I want to want Nokia but they are just not cutting it. They saturate the market with so-so phone and they are just capitalizing on their popularity. But I am still happy because SE is taking the mobile market seriously. I hope they continue to offer great phones like this and not so oh-hum phones like the ones currently and previously offered by Nokia.
Nokia needs some catching up. BIG TIME!

relevant to w800,d750i.k750i,w900
with the video recording time, it is auto set to around 10-15 secs, but can easily be changed by going to camera > video mode > settings > shoot mode > high quality video.(will be set by default to 'video messaging')
ps looks like i will have to wait til jan to get my upgrade now. no more n91 for me.
question --- does anyone know if orange uk will be supporting this handset?
and a more precise release date?
