Boy am I ever glad the W8 00 was not avaiable when my son in law came home from Iraque through Dubai. This sounds like the perfect Phone, Camera, Radio, Mp3 player, for me. I walk 4 miles every day & love to listen to either radio or music on my present 15 yr old Sony Walkman, of which my kids laugh at the size of it. I will also be able to take good photos of the early sunrises along the beach, with the 2 megapixel camera, along with golf swing sequences, with the Video. All of this will be able to be acheived with the one small but unique device of the Sony Walkman W900. That is if I can talk my son in law into picking one up for me on his way home through Dubai again. Sounds like the best 3-in 1- phone I have read about in all my hours of web studies, as to what I have read about so far. Oh boy, is this 60 year young GERIATRIC going to have the patients to wait for me new Black W900. Come on Sony get it released yesterday for this lad 2day. Thank you Sony.

You can not, it's comming at the end of this year. But this phone is way bigger and way fatter than the reasonable 750i. It is a shame.

It doesn't have astonishing specifications in my opiniong. Plus this isn't a small phone.
Let's wait some reviews about the quality from the pictures, video and screen. Can it compare to the others, considering it's introduction time?

470 MB ... that's what shocked me at this fone :)
the rest is no big deal nowadays, really ... maybe the 2mp cam with the autofocus, but there are cheaper ways of getting w900, which I think it will be at 1000-1100$ :
1 x Nokia 2300 (just a fone, nice std-by) = 100$
1 x MP3 Player (IPod) = 250$
1 x Canon Digital Camera = 300$
------ 650$ ------
still, thumbs up for the memory :D

Arfi, on your video camera.. go to the option that says shoot mode, select high quality video and then you'll be able to record for ages.
I really wish sony ericsson would include instruction manuals with their phones...

Great phone,it will be my next phone and for all those nokia fans,it can hide behind SE's back! For me W 900 design is slightly better than S700,it looks a little bit thicker,but s700 has bigger display,however both phones are awesome.

big, missing edge and aac+, a jack-knife? still no 3 mpx no 24 bits, only 40 chords, oh man Se its going back stil 470mb and the design it nices just they keep using that juicy orange,and they didnt make it small

i got sony ericsion w 800 i fone but da thing is dat u can only record a video for 10 sec how abt dat fone can u record da video more den 10 sec cuz in samsung d 500 u can record a video up to an hr can any1 tell me if i can record a movie in w 800i fone more den 10 sec nd how abt w900i for how long u can record a movie

My next phone I think! I knew there was a reason I stuck with my D750i and didn't get the W800i!
I love how people complain about lack of things like infrared and EDGE.
Suggestion: Move to a country where 3G is supported and fork out for a bluetooth dongle!

i think the camera will be better then n91 and 3250 coz it has autofocus.
