hey guys, can this phone be even cheaper than $450 canadian? i wish it could, then for sure i buy it hopefully.

It'll be out in Toronto in a few weeks, around mid October unlocked. For Vancouver, probably a few days earlier, but soon, just stay patient. For the price, people here are guessing around the 400-600 range, though I'm expecting around 550. These prices are in Canadian. But then again, the prices might be lower, cause the Canadian Dollar is 1.014 to the US dollar. Poor Americans with their declining economy...

Need a reality check? The samsung phones CANNOT multitask! It stops the music the moment you bring up the task manager. Also, the U600/U700 looks pretty plain to me. I'd rather go for a Motorola RAZR MaxxV6 which came out at the time and is it's direct rival, along with the Samsung A706. Also, their headphones that come with it don't play the music with great quality, which is what even the Motorola headphones have. I'm sorry, but Samsung phones look good, though sound bad.

And true, the camera IS the only thing to come from the U600/U700 to the W910, but even then, the camera doesn't bring out a good quality. It just has a fast and good interface, that's all.

The only thing worth jumping the boat over for both the U600 & U700 is the 3.2Mp autofocus camera which is exceptional.

If your into slim packaged photography, go Samsung.

If your into slim packaged hardcore multimedia, GO SONY "ALL THE WAY!" W910!

Who tells you that u600 has a poor mp3 player and build quality. Have you ever touched this phone. This phone reflects your personality.It is also veryyy slim.But if you need 3g you can get u700.Samsungs new 2007 mp3 players in phones are really cool, clear, loud.And most impotant it has 3.2 mp baby. Dont forget that.

But the isn't 3G or even HSDPA. It has a smaller screen, worse mp3 player and has shocking build quality.

To everyone that want opinion bout w910 and w580.... GO FOR W910!!!! its has a new walkman, new function and lots of new stuff!!!! w580 is just lika any other walkman with a pedometer!!! I picked up w580 due to my impatience and now i am stuck with it for a long time before i get e new phone...

Then it seems that Nokia and SE are on the same playing level when it comes down to hardware/material quality, though SE has the upperhand with it's sensors and accellerometre.
And no one said that it was the first time that SE had bad quality phones in their introductionary phones like the W850 with the new TrackID and Emotion/Heartbeat Illumination lights or the W580 with the first version of the Shaker Control and the second version of the slider emotion lights.
But we won't know if SE will change their ways or not. For now, their Candybar formed phones are really good quality, when compared against Nokia.
