good phone in general.
screen not that much prone to scratches.
nice sturdy design.
negative:
stylus keeps falling out.
battery life not great, last 1 & half days before charge again.
onboard speaker not loud enough.
sometimes require to restart phone every 2 weeks.
if in bad reception area (no 3G), and busy with call, your call will be dropped if phone wants to send/receive email.
TrackID not always working so good.

at first, i think i'm dissapointed with this phone, but when i update the firmware via SEUS i got best phone in the world

I had also bought w950i first few months it worked very superb but afterwards the phone started up irritating me by hanging out/ restarting every time.
So i had updated the software of the phone just usuing (SEUS) Sony Ericcson Update Service and belive me my w950i is working better than i had brought it new. And its speaker sound quality had also inscreased. Now i am again happy with my phone.

My parents got this phone for my 18th birthday last year. I adore this phone, its truly amazing. there was one tiny problem i couldn't figure out. How do i connect to the internet with it? where do i have to go?

I bought this phone in last jan, the battery back up is what disappointed of all the other features. I bought this from US and b/s that I can't even send it for replacement or check.
hardly I'm getting 12hr of standby and 1hr of talktime. local service dealer told me that it's a problem with the motherboard and not sure what 2 do with this now.

You have to goto the official website of SE, register & then there it will guided you to upgrade the software, online. I did it that way, it's safe & secure.

I had the same problem with messages (bluetooth and SMS) and to resolve it you have to update the W950i software the software update, download it and follow the instructions (work fine)

the best i have ever had, simple to use, user friendly, nice themes and user area, so fine to manage and listen your favorate musics, long life battery. (you should decrease the display's bright ness, then you will ahve your battery charged for 1 week in standby mode.

i got some with my 9501.I have receive some massage via bluetooth from my friend,but when i open my in box it show my application close. Application- massging, Reason code- USER and Reason number- 130. Is there anyone can advise me?
