hi guys i have the W950i i tried to trnsfr data from my comp to the phone it gave me an error saying USB device not recoganised and my phone died i need help how to reflash the phone and where would i get the flash file for my ph or any idea would it be something else please help me

cant argue with you paps, but it all depends on the quality of the earphones/headset you are using... low balled headsets sacrifices the sound quality. N91 is by far the best in delivering the goods, even besting the iPod wannabes, creative, iriver etc...

@ nim,
so you are concern to sound quality through headphone,i'll suggest you that w810 is better than w950 through headphone and if you can sacrifice big scrren go for n91 8gb,its th e greatest music phone ever its the loudest and clearest music phone via headset. its my opinion cuz i used all three phones.
n91 8gb rulz.

Hi guys,I would like to ask you a few questions.I am planning to buy a w810i or w950i.They both are still available in india.I got to know that the w950i,has the same walkman 2.0 software as w580i but with touch functions.I heard music with the head phones in w580i,and it was not good as the w300i because the song kinda sounded different in the head phones and lacked the quality of walkman 1.0 software.The fidelity was very bad in the head phones.You understand what i mean right,the song sounded entirely different from what we hear normally say in the computer,cd player etc.I am in a fix ,please help me out.I am waiting for someone to reply.I dont care about anything in the phone except sound quality.I currently own a w300i.Should i buy w950 or opt for w810i with the old software.Does w950 really have walkman 2.0 software ? Help me out guys. i am waiting........

I'm planning to buy this phone this weekend. It has almost all what I want. The sound quality is brilliant, its touchscreen.. I won't need a camera although I do wish they had WiFi put in it.
Previously, I was about to buy an Ipod 30gb or the Creative Zen 32GB. But my old k750 has severe joystick problems so I thought its better buying a phone that has good multimedia capabilities. I would like to ask;
Has anyone watched videos on this after converting? I want to know the quality. If its near or atleast the same as Ipod I will be darn happy and buy this phone straight away.

the w950i is a better looking phone when compared to its bro the w960i which i think looks cheaply made u can see alot of plastic the w950 is more solid and its keyboard is unique

I Think This W950is better than the W960 because in w950 there a lot of functions that are not in the w960. There good things in w960 (8GB, WiFi, Camera)
I think Camera is not ipmortant. If you wan to use wifi use Laptop :) I think. 8Gb memory is as good as 4GB.
I'm very satishfied with my W950:)

Hi ppl, I am planning to buy one of this very soon. I need some advice from you fellow users. While on the normal mode can we access the main menu using a key or do we have to use the stylus. because on the pictures i only see the keypad, SE walkman key & the "C" key. can we directly access the other features without using stylus. appreciate your feedback gyus ...thanks

Hi nghi! W960i is obiviously a better phone than 950...but as you said it is quite expensive. I don't know what about in Vietnam but here in Rmania it costs about 450 eur compared with 950 wich is aprox 200(max 250) eur.The problem with sound intensity can be solved by updating with latest software. Sound is much louder(i mean a lot :).
I don't use quickoffice but Documents to go.

For Jernej: The video player offered by them is pretty limited. Instal another video player such as Core PLayer. All your probles will disapear. It will eaven play wmw,asf or avi formats. Or,just as i have said, update software.The playaer included in the last version of firmware is a lot better than previos ones.Tough it looks the same it has better drivers.

the best phone i ever had......not too loud sound but good deep bass....you can get themes, videos to www.zedge.net......games to mobango.com, mobile9.com....and what more fascinating is its kinda rare in the market already...this is a one of a kind design phone....you will never regret it....

This phone is horrid. I need to reflash it every now and then because called ID stops working. If I add voice commands for contacts called ID dies.
Last time I lost themes - needed to reflash.
Can't play video smoothly with a bluetooth headset.
Did I mention the abysmal Java performance?
