Like I said in the M600 post. Sony Ericsson I think, are doing a "BlackBerry" with added Walkman.

You guys have to remember this phone is marketed as a Walkman with a phone attathed so having no camera is not something big to query.

why would u make a cell phone with no camera??? i mean phone is nice and got 4GB but what is the point of making a cell phone these days without a good digital camera to come with it. too me this phone is a waste of time. i would rather get the W900 which would be better. with the 2MP camera and 430MB built in and add 2GB with memory stick.

Even though it doesn't have a camera, and it has been announced after Nokia's 4GB phone, the N91, I belive this phone will be out before it and will sell simply because people have got tired of waiting for the N91 and will trust that this phone will have an excellent music player as it is walkman branded.

i have hardly ever used my camera on my phones.this looks like a very good phone especially for music lovers.a client of mine is a senior phone repairer and his advice was that most phones that have cameras are returned with a problem and affect overall standard and functioning of the phone.he feels that the best phones are those without cameras .For my taste this phone looks very good.

is that all ou guys worry about? the camera? come on! you should worry about the sound quality and effectiveness of the phone instead of always talking about the camera. i think only lazy people who don't know anything about cellphones would say stuff like this. i mean looking at this phone you know it looks great and that it offers the benefits of listening to some mp3 albums. if you want the camera, there are cheap digital cameras on the market. leave that phone alone, there's no need to put a camera on it since it already has the mp3 and more features. i think this phone will do great.

i think this will be the BEST UMTS (3G) phone for professional (just like nokia Exxxx series) w/o camera, if only they include EDGE support... why u say EDGE is important? well the fact that GPRS will only have 50+ kbps throughput, you don't want your browsing experience affected very much... consider this, UMTS (~200 - 300+ kbps) --> EDGE (~100 - 200+kbps) or UMTS (~200 - 300+kbps) --> GPRS (20 - 50+kbps)... u decide... i hope they could still include EDGE in the final product since it will not be out for another 6 - 9 months...

Seems weird to me, the latest fone doesn't have the camera function, why tho? it would just be the perfect fone if it does.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PEOPLE RELAXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
evry body complains how it dosnt have a camera, well there IS gonna be a version WITH a camera..its a long story behind why the earlier models dont have a camera. its because of how this fone has bcome a PDA, privacy laws, and bosses getting this fone for their employees, employees taking fotos non related to work, etc.. thats why!!
SOO All you people like me who were shocked to find no camera, relax urselves cause its gonna come..=)
