i cant believe its true no cam on this phone its meant to be the upgrade of the other W series sony ericssons thay had 2 mega pixles and 1.3 mega pixles but this aint got nothing OMFG

yeh 3g but no cam starnge amazing memory 4 gigs but no cam emmmmm in a phone like this no cam its 2006 all phones must have that feature i know people dont use all the stupid features on the phones but its a must have in the todays world

I have to agree with those of you complaining about the lack of a camera on this model. I can understand them not puting it in the M600 becasue it is for business, but this is a Walkman branded phone, and all the other versions have it. As well it is a 3G phone and one of the biggest advantages of that is the real-time video conferencing that you can do. So yeah most businesses don't let you have the camera, but when you go through the effort of making one phone more business orientated and the other more for personal fun, for us non business people the lack of camera is a bit odd and stupid. Oh and before you all bitch about how people dont always want cameras, SE made two of the exact same phone here ok, M600 and W950 one is just a music phoen and the other is a business model. So if you dont wnat the Camera get the M600 if you do then you have a choice but that choie was taken away.

i'm quite devastated about this magnificient phone. Camera is very important right now. The phones will be perfect with 2.0 megapixel camera. Hopefully the management of sony ericsson can create the new perfect phone. Best of luck

I think this a perfect phone for professionals. Why do you need a camera in all phones, there are 100 phones available with camera.
At least leave this phone without camera, is useful for professionals were camera phone is banned in the company. It would be great if Sony Ericsson can make more phone without camera, but all other features should be there.

Well this is a nice phone, but i think it has to come with a camera. or can it go with an external camera? 4gb internal memory is very large for storage.

Sony ericsson why release a phone without a camera?, and the people who say phones are only to make phone calls should stick to there old tacky phones. Cameras are useful on phones bcoz you cant carry a digital camera with you everywhere.

Why everyone thinks 3G phones are meant only for making video calls? 3G represents that the phone is capable of transferring data at faster rates than 2G and EDGE phones. So, 3G is not just for video calls!

dvd8... even if this phone has no camera, it does not mean that you can't put photos and videos in... you can always use USB to transfer music, photos, videos. So, don't worry so much about not having camera. After all, without the camera, you can consider this phone more seriously as mp3 and video player, or more of a PDA.
