I just want to know:
is this phone cancelled? and if it where can I see that it is?
and when is it gonna be out here in Europe (Denmark) in October or in December?
Hope the player will not organize files automatically (like in early W-series). I mean, it will allow you to classify files as you wish… and not automatically classify them by artist/album… it’s not practical at all to have to create a playlist each time you transfer files. Imagine listening to a compilation... even an album with "guest artists" is automatically disorganised by some W-phones.
In my W800, I can classify files using windows explorer by simply creating folders with name I want. It’s much more practical
W-series are goodgoodgood...good music phones... maybe i even like them better than ipods...
but some points are intriguing me… where are the direction keys???? No D-pad?? Touchscreen only? Right, but then what’s the point in having Delete key [c] and Previous key??? are they more useful than a joystick? Or will it come with a navigation system similar as the one in the k850???
Anyway, like it and hope it may replace my W800 (first W-phone)… in my opinion, Walkman phones are much better mp3 player than any other phone
w960 is definatly the phone 2 get. pretty sammart design and seems to have all the features you need in a phone. diffranrnce between SE and the latest nokia handsets is the ammount of time they take to put handset together. nokia need to slow down and stop releasing handsets for fun of it hteres just to many F****ng faults. big up SE
YAaa Rrright.. this phone is cancelled...!!!
Yaawwwn you guys are boring..
no it aint !
get a life pls..
oh and yeah - if you can pls vist SE website to..
Does the camera have Macro?
Thinking of switching from my K800 to this if the camera is as good.
haha the phone isnt cancelled! its avaliable for pre oreder and have a look at it on the the SE webiste for confirmation.
One terabyte? One terabyte? We wont be seeying one whole terabyta on a phone for a cery long time.
This phone has its advnatages and disadvantages. No hsdpa, no edge, no joystick, no expandable memory, large size and the fact that its finger pring magnet have really been the letdowns for me. N81 is going to be the cheaper alternative, and the n95 is the way to go if you have the money.
c'mon SE announce when the phone will be available. i cant wait to get one. by the way, whats the deal with make the w950 without a camera.
"OS but why most of nokia phone hangs up. even though later version of symbian phone are speedy compared to older OS. "
OS phone depends on their CPU speed not newer the OS it is, the faster it will be. get it? lol. even the N76 flat phone of nokia's has more faster CPU speed then any of sony's -_-
they take time to build? more time to build a phone, the more lasting the phone is? nonsense? btw, why don't they take time to improve each and every function in SE phones? why is like always the same spec but just changing the cover and come out as a new phone again and again? nokia 5mp wins this time round dude.
i like everything about the phone but when will it be available in south africa love it
When that day would come when we will see a mobile with 1 Tera byte to be a real competitor to the ipod and ZEN
we wish also from SE to improve the media player to support more video & audio formats
To "For Token": My post is the one above gbstrat's post, but the gestures nice!
I really like the article about the differences between the camera qualities a few blogs back. It is very informative and throws new light on camera facilities provided by differenct manufactures. Can't wait for this mobile to come out in the market. It's been far too long already.
another thing about speed of Symbian OSes. Slow doesnt means its cheap. but infact pushing your phone to its limit would degrade its components more easily.. thats why some phone of SE doesnt force your handset to its limit.. but take its proper capabilities to a proper use. these expands the life of your handsets.. so less hang Up, less memory leak. and more precious moment with your phone.
