As far as video recording is concerned, our test Sony Ericsson W980 unit went as far as QVGA at 15fps. We know better though than rushing to a conclusion about video capabilities of beta units. There have been several cases when handsets that could only reach QVGA@15fps in their prerelease stages went as far as QVGA@30fps in the retail version.
does this say MIGHT have it? no it doesn't it says that it did have the feature in the prerelease stages. although i admit i was off but not as off as you. so before u tell someone how to read why don't u go back and read then reread it before making urself look like ur smarter than everyone else mmmkay?

what exactly do u mean by low lighting? im not expecting a great cam/vid from a phone like this. anyway its just too pretty. cant wait to get one

I think the price tag is ridiculous way overpriced, I think I'll pick another phone with better features and even cheaper (maybe an S60). I think the big price tags are the main reason why SE is loosing market share.

i just picked up this phone yesterday. the sound quality is good but not great as xpected. it is clear and good but it sounds lower than my s500i. the dpad and soft keys are horrible to navigate bc it's to small. texting is great as the buttons are big and comfortable. i read the review on here and said the retail version had qvga 30 fps. if i remember correctly reading somewhere s500i only have qcif 15 fps but not sure. the w980 video is just the same if not even worst than the s500i. this was one of the selling point for me and big let down. picture quality is decent. camera position is a pain bc index has to sit right there. the lcd screen or qvga screen has low lighting. it's not even close to being bright like my s500i. i love flip phones and waited for this one but the features are bout the same as my s500i. thinking about sending this back. this phone is not worth 600 bout 400 maybe not even that. this phone is just eye candy nothing to brag about. the only thing i really like is the touch that is awesome. very responsive and easy to use.

Does anyone have this phone?? how's the performance of the speakers and the sound quality by headphones?? Is still the same quality like w580,w880,w810...???

No AZ or flash for camera and no media slot even though it has 8GB of internal memory.
Too much hype so it's better to wait for actual buyers to post their comments!

wow. W980 and W902 make me difficult to choose between them. Which one is better and fair? But, my next ph, I want to use flip ph. That performance of W902 is also nice. I think the pirce of these two are not differ enough. I want the flip phone with 5mp camera with auto focus and flash... can I? any comment?
