Wasn't the SE W960i hyped as being the ultimate Walkman phone?
Most of us know what a dead duck that phone turned out to be. The W960i Walkman's sound quality was disappointingly average.
How do we know the W980i will be no different when it finally arrives?

Yes, 450 euros in preorder----I can read, ypu know.I tried to include the web name but the post never came out, if you are interested,check with google.It's an international online shop,every tiem I wanto to include the na,me of the shop--nothing to do with me, of course, the moderatos erases my posts.

Features are very similar to the W890i that was recently released!
Being a "Walkman" phone, SE included a 3.2megapixal camera but no flash or autofocus, again, similar to the W890i.
It is meant to be a media player phone but at least include the flash AND the autofocus especially for the price!
Based on the estimated figures for the cost, it's darn Pricey!

NOT ALL SE phones have the 2 piece earphone with 3.5mm adaptor just the plain earphone!

Not ALL SE phone included the headphones with adapter!
For example, own the P1i and it came with standard earphones with the proprietary plug!
The earphones sound like crap!
Had to buy a simple 3.5mm adaptor to use the darn media player in the P1i with standard headphones!
Sony is one company that still holds out in using their proprietary port for charging and for using headphones instead of using the industry standard mini USB port for charging and 3.5mm port for headphones!
Goodness! Many of you weren't even aware that SE does NOT included the 2 piece earphone set with some models!
You'll notice that many people especially online phone reviewers have critisized this
fact in nearly every review!

i keep checking my email waiting bc the site said expected launch but it is not official release date. someone said somthing bout vodafone on the 3rd of agust. i don't know bout that.

well...on the google shopping search there is 2 prices...860$ and 350$!!! iam not sure if this is a scam or for real cuz i have subscribed in SE newsletter and nothing about this phone being on the market have been sent plus the price diffrence is really wierd....i hope it doesnt cost more than 450$ or i will have to get a V9 then
