i bought this phone yesterday why when i want to texting ... my fone brightness sometimes so light sometime it goes a liitle bit dark... it so annoying.... is it normal for the 1st time or any setting did i have to... please reply me.... i'll appreciate it... please....

Most of the problems that this phone has are blackout (no display - Keypad lights are on), hang, restart.

This is due to a corrupt software. I repaired mine using A2uploader from se-nse.net and use a custom firmware.

I have had this phone the past two years and i really love it, the problme i have just had is the screen is gone off. But i can is one of the best phones ever

I have this phone and I have to say it is pretty good the camera is very good in my opinion and the sound quality is amazing especially when you are listening it through the headphones, comparing sound quality of w980 and w995 which I own as well I have to say that the overall quality with the w980 is top notch. The largely spaced keypad allow for very fast typing and the FM transmitter comes in very handy when you want to listen to your tracks in your car never to say the 8gb internal is plenty of space of space for files (I currently have over 300 tracks and plenty of space left)sad thing is no wifi abig letdown in my opinon the big seperation from the w980 and the w995, also the volume is loud,louder then w995 but I think it has more potential to be louder like the Nokia 5130. Also needless to say the front touch screen gets pretty scratched so it is advised to get some screen protection, I ended up buying one and replacing it.

Overall the phone is very good and would reccomend it for music lovers and for general multimedia and consumer use :-)

there is no latest software updates for my w980. Sound of speaker are very very low.

i'm using this phone from jan 2010 till now..so far, this phone does'nt give me any prob..just having 1 prob...no flash.. :(...

the keypad buttons are too faraway from each other so i feel little bit difficulty in in quick messeging but over all i liked that mobile.

W980I is a different type of mobile. i am using this mobile from 2009. it has not created any problem.i like it's every feature. but if this mobile is awesome then it should be more thin and should have a flash that's really important

I assumed it was just because it was slimmer than my other phone (a 3 years old SE K810i) that I sense perfectly when it is vibrating. So, now that you mention it my older K810i vibrates stronger than my newer w980, so maybe new SE phones have this problem...

Does the W980 have a strong vibration? All the newer SEs havea very weak vibration, and I cannot even feel them when the phone is on 'Silent' and in my pocket...

Please advise. Thanks.
