Typical! I finally get the W960 and they announce this. Although, tbh, i prefer the W960 for the camera. I gotta admit though, the orange light-up bit at the bottom looks cool as f***!
There seems to be some debate about the round keypad buttons. It seems to fit the rest of the phone's design approach. It seems to me that SE are going for a sorta 1980's vision of the future; kinda retro style. I personally don't like it but I think this is prob'ly SE's response to criticism that their handsets all look the same. At least now they're exploring different designs...

Fall in love with this one, but seeing the rounded button inside is an immediate turn off. But I'd prefer a clamshell K or G phone.
SE had so little clamshell phones outside Japan, and most of their offers (the Z series) are mediocre in specs compared to their other series such as K, or G. What's their problem anyway ? Afraid that the clamshell will chip their candybar model's sales ?

this phone is the best my brother got one you wouldn't imagine the features this phone has its super cool the design is awesome the sound quality is d best camera can work on a bit i love the nubs and the whole shake feature im so jealous of my brother while im stuck with a w580 my phone doesn't even compare to this phone the clamshell feature is cool it's like a spuer revised w300 . oh and of course SONY ERICSSON IS D BEST.

i dont like the keypad.
and the outer design.
i like w910.
i hope there will be a w930.
same as the w910
but 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and autofocus.
and 8gb memory.
i hope SE will have that dream phone!

deal is settled, release is anytime and i will hunt this kid. lol any design freak out there should just get a hand on this. why need cameras when nikon n canon still exist? get a eos or dseries ones if u are really into photography, dont simply say put good cams on the phone. A phone is meant to be as a phone only, perhaps use it as an accessory too, and this phone is soo perfect for the purpose. ladies, wear any stuff and put this phone on ur neck, still is a beauty anytime anywhere. will be flashy in the clubs too i bet *drools*

hi im a sony ericsson!!! i like it coz it's full-packed of extraordinary features ..it's one of a kind!!it's lesser price that suits your needs...it's worth...Unlike those nokia phones they're just insecure coz they just inventing something that's not worth!their products were easily broke and easily pirated!!in sony ericsson you'll never regret....it'll satisfy

a superior phone design should come with wlan and camera flash light. people buying cell phone like this do not mind the price but they do mind the features! sony ericsson, DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!

I love Sony Ericsson. They have the greatest designs while Nokia has some of the worst, så i would never switch to Nokia, which is probably their biggest rival. I hope this means better sound quality in all following phones too, and that would just make Sony Ericsson rule the market.
I only hope they'll make a phone with somewhat the same design as the W890i, but with the sound quality of this W980i phone :)
