Personally, I'm looking forward to the new Rachel.. er.. Xperia X3 model! Let's see what happens this Fall 2009 or Winter 2010.

SE is STILL releasing crappy version of lower end phones for ... what reason??? Keep public aware of SE's presence??

SE screwed up and look at the mess it is in financially and at the change in top management!!

Hopefully SE will realize that those to-be-released phones BETTER be BUG-FREE and stable and AFFORDABLE priced so the general public Will buy them!

Who cares if the press loves the phones? They are NOT the ones buying them, rather, the public will!

SE is LATE in catching up their phones with technology their competitors already have in their phones which are affordable priced!!

Only time will tell if SE will survive as a joint, if not a single, phone company! It only has ~

1. Battery lasts ~3-4 days on phone/media player while all other apps are shut OFF as reported by MANY owners

2. You want a decent camera, you buy and use a camera.
Otherwise, Cybershot camera is slightly better!

But, come on, the Idou, it has 12mpx and VGA....(lg has d1 in 5mpx)..i really don't understand why....it's a bit of a letdown, you make a great phone but when it comes to video recording you barely want to use that....it's just my opinion. I still believe that SE can make great phones if they study the market and change a bit their marketing, they could do a great job. From all the big manufacturers (Nokia, Samsung, LG) who were on + in profit, SE are the only ones that are in big trouble; even Apple has been on a +.

This phone has been tested and it has shown almost no bugs, something Nokia, HTC, Samsung and HP suffer from, SE has 256K colour screen because the size of the screen means better colour display, Nokia users know from the N-Series that its screen colours look abit faded. Samsung has a bright screen but their software is highly unstable, something they admit and are trying to fix. Also the Samsung Innov8 is extremly slow, but it has Divx and Xvid support(something that no SE is equipped with), and yes SE may make phones with SIMILIAR features, but each phone has a truly unique feature. SE software is very relaible because their main concren is software, then specifications and only then design. So if you want a speedy phone with alotta features go for SE, if you want a flashy phone go for Nokia, but if u interested in a phone designed for only one thing, go for Samsung. But if u want a business phone and you don`t really mind about speed then HTC, HP etc. Are procably the best choices.

i am asking if the battery can last 4-5 days if little use and left on standby?
also how is the 8 Megapixel camera of w995 compared to the cybershot camera 5 Mega pixel of c 903?
which camera is better?

With this model only, they've tried to make an all-in-one quality unit (even added a 3.5 mm audio jack), so it's not just like another same old SE.

The Aino is quite a capable device too tho (VGA @ 30 frames per second).

I've been a faithful user of SE for many years, but I've got bored with their features, which are the same for many years, and my god, I do not understand why they are so stubborn and don't make the camera to record at least VGA resolution. Their cameras mps are useless with low quality recording. It's 2009 and they are still QVGA. So, I gave up in waiting for them, and I sold my last SE phone, the g900, and I've purchased the Samsung UltraTouch. Now this is what I call a world class phone. You have everything, brilliant camera, excellent video recording in D1 (720x480), amazing screen, awsome features. Samsung knows how to please their users. I am disappointed by SE, and I will not defend them anymore. No wonder they are in debts, that's why, because they didn't knew what the market wants, they kept doing the same features in different designs all and over again. It will be no wonder, if they'll split, it's only their fault.

If you love capturing moments much better buy Cybershot with 2.00 MP Camera far more better than 8.1 MP of W995. in this mobile just a little shake of your hands when you take photo? owww kinda bullshit 8.1 cam results all shadow or ABSTRACT IMAGE YOU WILL GET ..

se u r the best ...now only thing u need is to introduce lock in ur phones oder wise u rock ...way better than all oder phones in the market...
