Eli, 21 Apr 2011Hello all. just got the phone yesterday, and although I am new ti android and touch screen I a... moreNot sure if I understood your question, you want the alarm to go off when phone is off or do you want the alarm to go ON even when the phone is off?
I assume the latest, to my experience, in all SE phone I have had the alarm goes on even with the phone is off always and with no particular option to be set.
Know this because even when I manage to use my worthless N97 It is always my K810 that I use as alarm clock even shut down, because I like the alarms and the way they are set best.
Then to make it go off simply click on the option it will display when ringing «repeat» or «cancel».
Hope this answered your question

It has happened that I have bought phones that seem good on paper and were rubbish in really life and the other way round. And even phones that are good on paper, very nice to use but simply couldn't cope environment aspects in where I live such as extreme moist (it has happened to me to buy a nice toshiba and because of that it was trashed in months). Real life sets apart good and bad phones not specs on paper as Samsung fans like to do LOL
Only 3 things are keeping me away from the Arc: price (it is fair price but not sure if I should spend so much in a phone), size (I like smaller phones) and battery life.
Maybe the Neo with a smaller screens and same battery can have slightly higher stand-by time? Maybe I will go for that one.

Not even on tvs Samsung is good. Advanced technology but not great care with image quality. I have Philips (old and new models), Sony, Samsung and even an old Nokia around my 2 houses and let me say I cry for the money I spent on the Samsung, lousy image and sound and it is not more reliable than the others.
They sure look good on paper though.
Going back to topic, I am thinking of buying the Arc just not sure if it is too big to carry in pocket or if I will miss full qwerty.
somebody that tell lies is reporting posts because he doesnt want the truth to be told... samsung is not best than sony e in phones , only on tv,s

You don't notice the difference in quality and performance unless you try it! I used Nokia, samsung, htc but nothing was satisfying and met my standards expect Sony.
I recommended S/E phones to a lot of friends, and the majority are happy and satisfied, so welcome to the club bud ;)
i agree this is much better ,it has flash ,hdmi , rds, much better style , only thing is missing from the iphone 4 is from camera.
