Roy D, 23 Jun 2012Seriously your help. My SE Arc Music player does not respond any longer. it always reads &quo... moreI would recommend to update your OS to Ice Cream Sandwich if you have not updated yet. If you already updated, try to re-install again the OS to repair the problem. I think that's the best thing that you can do.
Roy D, 23 Jun 2012Seriously your help. My SE Arc Music player does not respond any longer. it always reads &quo... moreEnter settings menu - Applications - Manage applications - choose "All" tab on top, find the application related to music - Media Storage, Music, Music Likes, Music player - open (one by one) and tap clear data. It will delete the apps cache files only, not your music files that stored in sd card. Then restart the phone.
If your Arc is lagging, just disable timeface. This application hook everywhere (facebook, email, sms...) and slow down the phone.

nafeel, 19 Jun 2012Has anyone updated the xperia arc si number of 1247-0400?What you can do to determine whether ICS is available for your Xperia Arc or in your region, go to www.sonymobile.com and install the the latest PC Companion. After you installed the PC Companion, you need to plug your unit to your computer using your USB cable. From there, the PC Companion will check if ICS is available for your Xperia Arc, otherwise you will get a message just like this "no update available". If update is not available, just keep trying at least twice a week.
may i active skype on it please tell me about it. it is not mentioned about skype on its features.

But when ICS is available in our region, I tempted to upgrade my Xperia Arc to ICS. I was really surprised that my Xperia Arc is running so smooth, even faster and maintain higher RAM than Gingerbread before. The only issue I've got is the bluetooth, sometimes it sends picture, sometimes it does not. I need to "unpair" and "pair" to my other phones, like SXS, to make it works.
