PGo6, 07 Mar 2012Hi all, What should I do or download to watch movies on my ARC? Thanks for any advice.download rock player from android market its free n great
Hi,
I have had my Xperia Arc for 6 months and only now I've noticed the small hairline crack by the proximity sensor. But I have also noticed 2 other cracks and they are situated in both left and right hand bottom corners where the touch screen meets the housing. This is a concern for me as I handle my phone with utmost care. It seems as if the area where the new cracks are located on the housing in those to corners, the housing is very thinly designed.
I am very happy with my Sony Ericsson phone in general, but I think Sony Ericsson should have done a better job at this phone, as it is cracking up all by itself.
I wonder if I am the only one having this problem?
Regards

I'm sure Xperia Arc will become a bit laggy with ICS not only because Xperia Arc got only a single core 1GHz CPU but because of having 512 RAM only. But I'm sure you will enjoy it once you have it in your hand.

I asked about that just because I wanted to know how the phone is working for you, and if the memory is working OK. Do you have a large number of apps install?
Thanks for answering, btw! Please let me know how the cyanogenmode installation went.
512 mb ram is it enough to work with more than 3 apps??????

My worries was just it might slow a bit or something when it got the ICS.

I would suggest to spend your money to buy Xperia S which is almost every country is now available. In the next Android OS update, which is the "Jelly Bean", I don't think Xperia Arc/S is still upgradable but definitely Xperia S will still enjoy the Jelly Bean Android OS 5. I have been using Xperia Arc for nearly a year now and I am ready to swap my Xperia Arc once Xperia S is available in Saudi Arabia. Well, that's only my suggestion to you because Xperia Arc is already outdated and for sure you wont regret spending your money for Xperia S it's really a big upgrade against Xperia Arc.
itz amazing phone...
Hello. So now it's march. And we all know what Sony will bring us this or early next month. THE I.C.S..
but I'm quite skeptic, can a single core smartphone handle the ICS? I've watched the ICS on galaxy nexus, and its stunning. but galaxy nexus is a dual-core smarthphone. I'm a bit worried because I don't ever wanna experience lag on my phone. :D I'm planning to have this phone in a few days. So anyone out there care to explain if a single core smartphone will be able to handle the ICS? Sorry I'm quite new with all the specs and maybe I'm asking the wrong question. :) Good day.
