How to transfer contacts from a samsung phone to this phone? Please dont suggest copying to sim or send through Bluetooth.....Suggest something with PC please...
The battery on this phone is shocking as standard but if you turn the brightness off and turn auto update off the battery will last a long time. Currently my battery last anything from 12 hours to over a day with general use.
untill now i still confius xperia mini pro or live with walkman...
Just got this fone yesterday!
I was about to get the white one but I found a store that offers the black only with free SE speaker & bluetooth headset...
hihi..
am not gonna update mah software coz some units encountered problems like camera crashes an stuffs like that.
oh, well..i still have to spend some quality time with my phone to get to know it better..;)
..cheers to xperia mini pro users! :D
It's got nothing to do with the specs, the software SE is putting in this phone is buggy as hell and that's why it's eating battery like there is no tomorrow.
I use the phone with data/wifi/gps OFF, 60% brightness, 2g and it's eating battery standing on the table, doing nothing. Also there is no update until now and rooting or unlocking the bootloader is HARD. The keypad also eats battery because it is backlit.
Given the same conditions, my LG P500 was doing 6-7days on a charge.
If you want this phone remember: even in your wildest dreams you will HARDLY get over 2-2.5days days with a full charge doing BASIC stuff (voicecall, sms, pictures). Throw in internet, gps and other things and you will hardly get 1.5 days. Support from SE is scarce to say the least.
On paper is a magnificent phone, in reality it's charger-bound, the worst thing for a MOBILE device.
how to capture photos without using touch capture
this device rocks men!!!
I've had one of these now for about 4 months.
Because of a recent firmware upgrade, the battery life has been improved by about 30%.
And there are easy steps you can take to extend your battery. The easiest being to drag the screen brightness down to about 35%. This still provides a stunning colour rich screen experience, but with less demand on the battery.
Still, not unlike most current smartphones, it's not the sort of battery capacity that you would take out on safari for days miles away from any re-charging source. But mine seems to perform marginally better than my wife's Apple iPhone 4.
For such a small unit, it's pretty impressive. I would have chosen a Mini but for only 1mm you get a slide out keyboard and a front facing voip camera. Had the Mini been of a much thinner form then I would have gone for that. But it isn't.
It's fast, responsive and I even find the portrait on-screen qwerty keyboard faster to type on than on my iPod touch. Pretty impressive seeing as the screen is almost half the size. I rarely use the physical keyboard at all.
If you don't require a phone that's so big that it's starting to look more like a mini tablet then I'd seriously recommend it as great pocketable hardware.
kanna, 25 Feb 2012poooooooor battery performance......It's the same on every smart phone..and btw, this has a powerful 1Ghz processor,512MB ram,an Adreno 205 GPU,and a 3 inch display with BRAVIA ENGINE..so how could you expect a long battery life?anyway this can do maximum 1.5 days with normal use..so its doing fine..
poooooooor battery performance......
