I do admit that the phone can be getting very hot sometimes. However, it only happen when you're doing heavy tasks on the phone.
There was a time when the phone reach 48'C when I surf the web via HSDPA while listening to music with few light apps running in the background.
When surfing only, the temperature is around 39-42'C. Playing HD games also can make it to reach that temperature. Prolong HD gaming can heat it up to 45-48'C.
Anyway, 48'C is the maximum temperature that I have ever recorded with this phone. Other light tasks or apps recorded temperature is around 34-39'C

The ray is a superb phone! It is way ahead of phones at its size range from samsung! Quality is exquisite! From build to the screen. But of course its not perfect
The quality of the sound in the speaker is great but I think since its a small phone so its not overwhelmingly loud but its loud and crisp.
The camera is a BIT above average. Although in the macro, you can't really get that near to the object.
Everything else is superb and very responsive.

The touch panel or keys are actually quite responsive that when I'm holding the phone and a part of my hand (not finger) sometimes accidentally touches the back button. Although I have VERY FEW moments where I had to press it at most TWICE.

This is not a disadvantage, but an advantage.. Heat inside the phone that produced by the machine was transfered out to make the phone cooldown quickly.. And heats up is depends on how you can manage running apps that consumes more RAM.. About the Touch panels, No! It's still responsive and no problem at all...

AutoFlash is Ok, but sometimes I dislike this.. I prefer Manual flash because I often take a picture at the day.. But, if you wanna make photo light on xperia ray flash automatically, you can try Vignette. It's free on Market. If you wanna Vignette paid version, I've found it at ray-xperia.blogspot.com. I've tried this to capture an object.. The Led is Flashed when touch the screen to capture.

For me, 300MB is enough & I can install many apps & Games.. Move to SD card is available on Android 2.3.. And I can confirm this is a good deal although a few size of the app still can't be moved because of system requirement... An application called App2SD can be a good app for Ray..

Gal W is just a bit better in speed because of 1,4Ghz...

Hello!!! I want to help people with their queries with the Xperia Ray phone!
I was using a Nokia 2730 before I got the Xperia Ray! At first I was definitely confused! From an s40 to an Android can be overwhelming for first time user! Especially with Android not being that new and the Ray being a new model, searching for help in threads can also be confusing and hard. But I'm actually an IT person so I was able to adapt immediately, but I can only imagine if my mother was the one in my position. So just ask anything and I'll try to help you :>
Keep X-RAYing! HAHA
why sony ericsson ray have a low coverage in maxis line in certain place? but,if use other model phone it's working well
