I love this phone coz its unique. I used to have an I-mate SP5m, so i dont have any problem with the OS, in fact i bought this phone coz it uses windows mobile. It sure lags a bit, sometimes it annoys me, but u get used to it. Panels are great but still no new ones coming out. Speakers is the worst thing in this phone hate them like hell. keybored is awsome. Picture is excellent. Battery is great. Rarely it laggs when an incoming call, the call itself wont be recorded or recived. The camera is very sensitve to motion when taking a photo. I loved this phone when the battery died, then i left it 4 about 12 hours and found a 2 misscalls and one sms, the phone just keeps blinking red (notification of low battary) and u can use the phone for 10 sec to see any misscalls\sms etc and after a while it starts again to recieve call, sms etc... am happy with this phone

The X1 won't be getting an official upgrade to WM6.5 according to an SE spokesperson when asked by Crave Asia.

> In reply to alessandra @ 2009-11-12 08:04 from BS1ci also have same problem about the back part warming up..but ive checked with SE support, they said its normal for the receiver area to warm up because using AGPS uses lots of power thus warming up.. so they suggest to turn off the AGPS if your not using it.(to also save your battery)

They also said not to worry about overcharging, because the unit have a sensor that will automatically cuts-off the charging whenever the battery temp goes beyond its limit.
Then, ive read from a website, that its advisable to charge the phone even if its battery is halfway.

i have had this phone since april 09. when i first bought this phone i fought it was the best thing ever, i think its amazing how you can browse your emails and recieve rss feeds. as said that was when i first bought it, now i really hate it. the casing is starting to crack and as said in another post the keyboard is starting to stick and is very irritable when trying to txt. also i get constant signal drop outs, a realtive of mine has the c902 and a lot of the time they can get a signal of around 3 bars as where my x1 would nt b able to find a signal in the same spot and we are both on the same network. if your interested in this phone because of its capabilities despite the slowness of WinMo 6 then be my guest buy the phone because it really is amazing. if u dont like fones tht have dodgy hardware then dont. im hanging up mine to get a 5800 which should work alot better but obviously not having as many capabilites as the x1.

I have my X1 and I bought it as 2nd hand. (2 months used). at first, when i inserted the memory card, it is viewable on my phone but no folders like music, videos, theme, etc..so i decided to reformat the memory stick on card because i cant find in my x1 how to reformat the memory card. i also tried to reformat in other unit but still, there's no folders can view. is there anyone can help me on this. because i cant save my mp3 and videos on memory stick.

one more thing, early this morning, when i check the memory card on my phone, it says "No memory installed".does it mean that i need to replace a new memory card on my phone?

This phone is great & from my personal experience, it's the best phone that I've got so far (I have used several Nokia phones including Communicator & some PDAs). The only setback is the quality of the keyboard, I type very often especially for sms & calender but unfortunately I have to service the keyboard (with parts replaced) three times during my one-year use.
