> In reply to nikolas :]] @ 2008-08-23 19:57 from 4vSYIf you look really closely at the photos, you'll see a little circle on either side of the earpiece. One is an ambient light sensor, the other is the video call camera. It'll be released in the UK on 5/October. That's the Vodafone release. It should be out SIM free maybe a week before...

Had a look at the Blackberry Bold 9000 in Australia today, it was very big, bigger than I thought actually. But the specs of the X1 are still fantastic, and I am not swayed away from it.

I'm in no rush as my SE K850 is still powering, but the X1 will definitely be my 2009 toy!

Some interesting comments re that geo-tagging stuff mentioned previously.

Is it possible that SE will change the final specifications of the X1 for final production?

I only ask because come offical sales date, the phone will be almost a year old since announcement, and argueably outdated already.

I would like to know if xperia contains geotagging,,was out yesterday with n82 giving it a go,,anyways i ask because this weeks click on bbc news 24 is on about a new concept (even tho everything thats been invented happened years ago but they are always new things)it involves not taking one geotagged snap and applying it to google earth but taking lots of snaps..These snaps should include a full detailed view of the whole 360 degree angle not just panoramic view,,these are fed into complex powerful computer software app and it comes out with something gsmarena do with their 360 degree view of the mobile..When you click onto the photo you dont just get a single snap you can look around you 360 degrees...

Altho this is nothing new really its going to be because camphones are now sporting geotagging so things are allowed to be placed at their origin so someone in Delhi,,Viena etc can go to google and see the statue (in this case click used the statue of eros in London)and see it as if they are stood their and walking around the statue ..I have around 140 printed snaps now at 6x4 inch and have printed hundreds more but you have to experiment a bit with your printer as often they come out darker than wants on your moniter..

So i have said this as its known most people never print out their snaps,,most stay on the mobile or computer screen but the best way to tell how good a photo is is to print it out,,yet your arguing about 8-10 megapixels whereas a good 3mp camphone is still going to win,,its in the proof that you cannot get enuf light onto the tiny 8mp sensor so up goes the noise and samsung had a 10 mp camphone out 3 yrs ago but its not taken off tho ????????

> In reply to [deleted post]why are you talking about other people like this? Why don`t you show some respect?perhaps the others had n`t show you much of it>>?
It`s a shame to see guys like you in this century->you still care about race!?
I`m not gonna report your Post cuz it`s a good(some how funny) example to show people who they are living with in the same planet!

Peace

and here comes the useful part>how long should we stay?Do you guys think that SE gonna make some changes in the specification?perhaps a better internal memory capacity!i don`t care about the camera!(MAY BE NO CAMERA LIKE MY W950i)>lower price?
