This phone is magnificent - only word for it. Functions are boundless, and as yet I have found no negatives. Anyone who has had problems with it must have been unlucky - because it is simply quite brilliant.
joe , 25 Nov 2008even the Gadget Show thinks the HTC is a better phone than the X1We so love comparing brands to a single product :P
Oh no. Just heard that Telstra initially has exclusive rights to the X1 which will sell in Australia next month.
That settles it, I'll have to buy it outright, unlock it and use another carrier!
I just LOVE this phone! ♥♥
I just bought it yesterday and it's totally flawless.
trust me. it's totally worth the money.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Joe HTC is for people like u, u should goto HTC page not SE
Enjoy your HTC, we'll enjoy our Xperia
Check this video for the comparison between HTC touch HD, Touch Pro, Xperia, and Diamond.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yes HTC helped SE make Xperia but its SE product, look at the quality of it, its Solid and Elite not like HTC's cheap material
Very High priced...i think one can go for HTC Touch Pro or Blackberry Storm or Nokia N96 having less price and almost same features.
Had it 5 days & superb.Had xda orbit before xperia & xperia is much better but fairly techy, be warned !!! screen is bliss.
this is one beast its taken 4hrs to get all the basics set up..really impressed so far so much to explore
Xperia owners should try this very useful t9 phonepad http://www.speedyshare.com/180288944.html
mnu, 25 Nov 2008I have this phone and people this is the best of the best even apple of nokia is nothing like ... moreWhen they mentioned GPS Built-in, does this means it can function alone without service nor wifi in place?
Bottomline, the XPERIA X1 is being positioned -- not just as a consumer or a productivity device, but one that offers you the best of both worlds -- a "wicked" entertainment appliance, yet loaded with productivity features that the most fastidious mobile professional could use very effectively in an enterprise context. There's already a fans website for the phone http://www.Xperia-X1.org LOL
