NOKIA are ugly bulky looking designs!!! SO big!!! and heavy when you put them in you pockets!!! and SE are much better bec. they are slim looking phone that can be put in the pockets and it is mot heavy to bring and this is what NEW generation means for the Sony Ericsson for new technology in design and features not like NOKIA their design are all the same and is too big and heavy when you put them in your pockets!!! NOKIA SUCKS!!! and won't except their defeat so their posting here to ruin Sony Ericsson which will never happen!!!

Ffs the reason why some pevious pocket pc's were slow was due to them
Having 64MB RAM with only 22MB free to the user.It wouldn't matter how efficient the CPU was with so little RAM.XPERIA X1 has 128MB RAM so it will be better.

Sina™ for answering at your question about O2 XDA Flame just look carefully here, please:
http://www.gsmarena.com/o2_xda_flame-1981.php .
And for the second question I will answer yes, you are a big lame because A-GPS is a GPS with assitance from the internet. However, a phone without a GPS module can also support A-GPS function what is a +, cheaper phones can have GPS functions too. A-GPS is just a program not a chip.
Yes, I have tried to use cell phones with GPS and with A-GPS. A-GPS is better to use in cities with high buildings and GPS outside from cities. Phones with GPS can support A-GPS also. But those cell phones without GPS will support just A-GPS.

why can't they put regular buttons, with the prism it was ok cause that was basicly like a fashion statement phone but here the specs look great with windows mobile and all but the buttons don't match, it looks like a business phone trya be a multimedia and fashion all in one?

It is a shame that some of you have to use expletives and vulgar language on this site. You are abusing the gift GSMArena have given us. The precious gift of productive communication.
Anyway concerning the X1. Some say that 3.2MP camera is all one needs on a phone. Here is a poser: take two prints both of which are 5"* 7". One is taken with a 5MP cam the other with 3.2; all other parameters being EQUAL the 5MP cam should produce the sharper print because the image was packed with more pixels and is therefore at a higher resolution.

it looks a great phone but why oh why does it have Windows OS whe Symbian is so so much better and most SE phones have used symbian successfully. Maybe SE should have two versions of this phone like Palm with different OS's.

i too believe that 64K is enougs, no real differences, just the spects look better if it shows 16M. So as far as i have concluded is that this phone indeed has GPS module, just the naming is silly, because usualy there is GPS module, with software that support A-GPS, well in case of X1 the A-GPS funciton in integrated on the chip itself, so no wirries, only screen could be bigger, like on my Nokia E90.

about the 65k screen, i think its sumtin to do wid the actual os, wont c much difference with the naked eye anyway, have a look at the htc touch review from gsm arena and that will explain why this phone has a 65k screen and why it doesnt realy matter.

Does not matter if its made by se or nokia.I like this phone.
I would like to buy it but my only concern is the 528 mhz processor, will it be enough for winmo 6.Had 5 winmo devices from O2 and HTC,all of them had 400+ mhz processors but damn they were slow as hell.
And about the 65k screen well wtf its a business class device and you dont need any more than that, its clearly not a multimedia centric device.
Love my current N82 and E90,i will buy this one and the N96 for sure.
Take care.

Guys, about 65K:
Win Mobile only supports: 16 bit/pixel (65536 colors).
It's true & it's terrible.
I hope Win Mobile 7 support 16M display color.
