@ nick I have an interest in photography, please understand It's not just the resolution of the sensor that determines the final image quality look at the optics, the colour management, the technology in the image-processing engines.Camera/phones image sensors haven't got significantly larger from one generation to the next,so squeezing more megapixels out of a sensor means each pixel on the sensor is smaller. In most of the chip business, smaller electronics is the name of the game but with cameras, they translate to less light per pixel. That light difference means it's harder to distinguish the signals produced by light from the electronic noise in the sensor. The idea of making the signal-to-noise ratio worse may sound pretty technical, but possible consequences are easily understood-Images suffer from colour speckles, and cameras work poorly in dimmer conditions such as indoors. If you try to cram more pixels into the same amount of space, you get signal degradation because you're not getting as much light into the same pixel.
I Love SE there are the best. and so are Samsung but SE is just better
better then NOKIA
SE 4 LYF!!!
Entering Xperia and a phone like N95 in comparison is fool . nokia will answer to touchscreen lovers next year , so for calling Xperia KING or WINNER , please wait !!
it is true that the megapixel count has little to do with it, however when you put a photo on your computer, you would normally open the photo not in its real size. because the photo is made smaller, theres more pixels in it so the image quality is better. see?
i think its fair to say the current generation of 5mp cameras outshine the 3mp ones and the 3mp camera on the xperia isnt going to be better than the camera on the n95 lets say.
i hope they have natural colours on the xperia though. the k850 photos are so dark and colourless.
As a photography enthusiast
(as well as a gadget freak!),I have indulged in my fair share of technology lust, spending more than a bit of my discretionary income on digital cameras. What I have discovered over time is that megapixel ratings often have little to do with image quality. The newer model digital cameras do not always match older models in image quality.Yet,marketers are bent on convincing us that we can never have enough megapixels.Nokia,Sumsung
,LG even SE are relying on consumers lack of experience/knowledge.
its slow compring to it other touchphones... needs more than 128mb RAM
that's only your clue!!! and your P1 is no much for this phone XPERIA X1 like;
- 400 MB internal memory
- 128MB RAM, 256MB storage memory
- Qualcomm MSM7200 528MHz processor
- 4 LED flash
- Built-in GPS receiver
- A-GPS function
- battery life is 1500 MAH
comparing to your P1;
- 160 MB shared memory
- 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM
- only one flash
- NO! Built-in GPS receiver
- NO! A-GPS function
- battery life is only 1120 mAh
and If hold this phone XPERIA X1 you can hold it under
so that when you are typing at the QWERTY board, your hand is under holding the phone while the other hand is used for typing at the QWERTY board...
I feel, the absence of a 5MP camera killed the phone already. Moreover, the placement of the camera isn't good. Mean you are gonna be holding the phone with both hands while using QWERTY keyboard, and the camera will always be under your left hand finger.
And by the looks of the camera, i have a gut feeling that its not gonna match the performance of 3MP camera of P1.
sorry, where is the videocall camera exactly?(second camera).I can't see that.
O'l right guys,
A real question, can you install TouchFLO 3D on Xpreia X1
Where TouchFLO 3D is primary user interface for new HTC diamond and I believe its a sperate application which can be loaded to the Win 6.1 or 7
where did you get that information? and dude please wake up, SE has higher sell on other countries like abroad ok and NOKIA and Samsung are from ASIA only...tsk tsk tsk
dude even this phone is only 65k it has VGA, VGA meaning if this phone has VGA you can changed the color more than 16 million color before you argue about the color please go read first...
this phone is built-in VGA meaning you can changed the color more than 16 million color.
this phone can say is sony ericsson new tech started but the screen colour still out dated...nokia screen colour already reach 16m but this xperia xl only got 65k...zzzz
This is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome. I like the feel that it is touchscreen and has a full qwerty keyboard.
errr, sorry, i aint gonna compare between manufacturers here but im proud to say im a HardCore SE user & im one heck of a Happy customer & honestly, i cant wait to get a hold of SE's Xperia X1. all i can say, SE has done a good job.
