Nokia hasn't showed us it's iPhone-like device so saying stuff like "nokia go bad bluh bluh" is really idiotic! (It really is, if you can't see the logic there you are stupid).
The only company that it's only phone stands in the category with this phone is APPLE! (not Nokia). Knowing a little about Apple, even if this cool phone proves to be better than their device they will surly overcome.

Good job,sony. I've been waiting for this quite a long time. First wm phone. a bit worry about though, wm has stability issues and sony smartphones p series are not as stable as nokia n series even they both use symbian.

This is truly an awesome phone. Out of the whole mobile phone market, SE is truly the best. This is why Sony Ericsson got the BEST CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AWARD in 2007! I am sure that SE's future Xperia handsets will be even better than the N-series and even more innovative!

By the way, the iPhone is nowhere near this phone in terms of features, functionality and design. The iPhone doesn't have a stainless-steel design, a slide-out QWERTY key board,a VGA resolution screen! The camera sucks- the iphone's camera is only 2MP without video recording! SE is definitely the best.
Same thing with laptops. Sony VA10 computers are definitely better than the Apple Macbooks, Powerbooks, whatever. For example, the new Macbooks have a keyboard layout that is similar to the one released a few years ago by Sony in their BX series. Apple copied them.
The same thing with the new Macbook Air. Apple tried to make 'the world's thinnest notebook.' However, the Sony VA10 TZ series beats the Macbook Air hands down. The Air is way overpriced and lacks features! THE TZ series is definitely a better choice.
Sony is the best and has a lot more experience than apple!

Why are people comparing the SE Xperia X1 to the Nokia n95? Nokia n95 sucks compared to this phone. Besides the camera, this phone is great. I am sure that although the camera is 3.15 MP, it will have better overall quality than the n95. It is Sony!
What is even better is the battery life. Compare the Nokia n95's horrific battery life to this amazing phone! What's the point of the n95's features when the battery life is bad. This phone has nearly 8 times the battery life! Wow!
By the way, the n95 has a 330 Mhz processor,while this phone has a more efficient and powerful 520 Mhz processor!
This phone has touch screen, full Qwerty keypad, VGA resolution screen, stainless-steel design, document editor and handwriting recognition and a truly innovative design!
For those people that are complaining about Windows Mobile 6.1, it is not that BAD. This phone has a somewhat better bersion of WM 6.1, due to the fact that SE changed it a bit. Wait for Windows Mobile 7 and the firmware and this phone will truly be the best of the best!

This phone is stainless-steel. This is surely better than the Nokia n95's plastic, flimsy design!
SE is a great company with a lot of potential. I liek how SE has different phones dedicated for different people. For example, the K-series, which are purely camera phones, and the W-series, which are pure music Walkman phones. Xperia are all-in-one phones. Overall, SE is the best!

for those iphone lover boys! check this out!
a step by step guide to prove that iphone sucks! just do the following-
1.click compare
2.click apple
3.click iphone
4.observe
only advantage iphone has over sony is storage.
and don't say it has a bigger screen becuase (keep this in mind) sony's screen may be a tad smaller, but definately a heckofalot more resolution!

people are going on about this being an iphone killer but you know what?
this isn't an iphone obliberator! it's an iphone discintegrater!
this thing has a screen nearly 2x the resolution of the iphone, yet the screen is only 3"
a 3.15mp camera with autofocus!
the design looks a little odd though, but look on the bright side of life! design is all apple is good for!!!
only downside is that it only comes with 400mb internal memory.
but by mid 2008, 8 and 16gb memory sticks will be out then eh!

The true gods of mobile have spoken...and have spoken loudly...N95 finaly takes the back seat now...keep up the amazing work Sony Ericsson...dont be shy to include 5 megPixel and zenon flash next time...also keep in mind analogue TV receiver

I really like the 800x480 pixels 3 inches screen, the GPS, windows mobile and the qwerty keyboard: very interesting features that will be hard for the competition! At last SE announced good features phones! Hope this phone price will be around 600USD maximum!

Hey guys. 2 all of u who try 2 bad talk this phone, let us reason. This phone is an entirely new concept. Did u talke a look at its commercial???? this OS (most likely WM7) has some sick 3d effects!1! D camera is good, perhaps not d best, but SE makes more dan just descent cameras... Besides, this phone merges all d latest trends!! Huge screen, gr8 OS, D amt of screen colors, guys, 4get it, it will look gorgeous, touch navigation, GPS, etc. What can i say, this phone will be a KILLER. At least copmared 2 wat we seeing right now. Though i saw a sneak peak to nokia n98, n it's sick! So let us be unbiased. I love nokia, i have 6120 classic, but i must admit dat this seems 2 b a monster!
