This phone looks very promising however the 65k color display, though helping battery life doesn't seem at par with the rest of the device. Also unless it has SDHC ability the memory of this device seems thin. It has good promise and would replace my iPhone if they changed those and possibly made it a bit thinner.
Give me strength!Of coarse the Xperia X1 has built in GPS.A-GPS speeds up the time in locating your GPS position by downloading the latest satellite data. The QC GPS chipset is Good.

I think it aint got no Mega Bass because it aint a Walkman phone.
But don't worry, this master piece has Windows Media Player and you can change the equalizer like in da PC version.
the perfect phone for me.i always wanted to buy an e90 but im a sony ericsson fan, finally something to look forward.i love the design, the os,the touch screen ..everything about it,the thing im a bit sad is its mono not stereo.but oh well, this is a business phone..not walkman series.
alot of people a complaining boutthe screen resolution like 65 k is 4 years ago.dont you people get it that is not SE fault.its the limitation set by microsoft for windows mobile.
im gonna save money to buy this cool mobile phone
And ma last Question is:
What is Optical joystick navigation?
Its that a touch navigation or just a normal four way keys just like on tha w850i?
Does anyone know if this booty X1 got MEGABASS?

This sure seems like a sweet phone, it looks good, has large high resolution display and a qwerty keypad. Can't wait to see the reviews when this comes out.
can one of you guys tell me who is going to use his phone as GPS? gps is just some extra rubish. if you really wan'it ok you can buy one of those nokias. all of you are complaining about lack of gps. and i'm sure that only 1% of all you guys are going to use it.
OK folks lets make predictions about the price of this beauty! (I was right about the W960i price.. :)
~ : 669€
yeah I absolutely agree that Sony Ericsson are the beat phone!!! Nokia are loosers
Guys, X1 doesn't support GPS:
A-GPS != GPS. Devices with only A-GPS has no radio link with satellites.
They use navigation information provided by GSM or CDMA base stations (which
have GPS modules) to determine your location. A-GPS only devices are not
real GPS devices and they are very inaccurate.
