not yet launched in GCC - any idea about launching date. I want to be be one of the first owner
watch this, see how the x10 UI works, it is not smooth, it does not respond very slow, or some times it does not respond at all. or lags, even the middle part of icons some times disappears too, is this 1GHz snapdraggon + SE android IU can do? its really a shame
Anonymous, 19 Jan 2010That's HTC trick. It does the same case with X1. What exactly are you talking about?

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2010Nah! That Nexus is no threat at all! Just look at all these bugs and complaints: http://www... moreOh and not to mention the DESIGN! I mean the X10 is just a KILLER! That sleek and stylish design is just really AWESOME! While the Nexus, IMO, looks really ugly! Especially with that hideous BROWN color! Gross.. And the need of trackball is just a MAJOR turndown...
Anonymous, 19 Jan 2010It's too bad this still hasn't seen release to market. With the Nexus nipping at its heels and... moreNah! That Nexus is no threat at all! Just look at all these bugs and complaints:
That's a LOT of complaints! HAHA! Clearly the new OS is full of bugs! I'm not surprised why its not selling that well at all. SE uses 1.6 which is way more stable! They even customized it and they added some features. Upgrading to 2.1 would still be just a minor update. I mean you can even install Google Nav on 1.6! Plus the MAJOR plus of X10 is the larger screen, 8MP camera, and of course the AWESOME flashy user interface. You really get the best out of the processor. While the Nexus uses the same boring basic android UI. And have you seen it's camera... LAME!
And for the AMOLED screen, here's what one reviewer says:
"The difference is, but to its notice, one must look at the screens simultaneously. In real terms the difference is not noticeable, palpable." Also one review of X10's screen says that it had very good contrast and has excellent sunlight legibility! So it's so much better.
This is why i am still wait for the x10.
A lot of usefull application.
Ericsson presents 3D maps on the Xperia X10
Ericsson Labs has introduced a new API, called 3D Landscape. Along with it, they have also posted a short video demonstration, which really managed to get us excited about the new technology and its possible application in the future. In short, 3D Landscape is like Google Maps, but in full 3D! All the buildings and objects on the satellite map are in 3D, which actually looks very cool. And it runs pretty smooth too, judging by what we see on the video, where 3D Landscape is demoed on a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, although the developer says that the software is also available for Java environment. For now, the SDK libraries released by Ericsson Labs include 3D maps for Stockholm, but more are on the way. It would be too cool to see such technology used in a GPS navigation app, but we guess all is in the hands of devs now.
SE phones are the best...cam are so clear like digicam.unlike nokia phones...u'll get good photos...not chappy when u call

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970At least I am decent enough not to post in MOTO forum to bash Motorola and its users (though very few). I don't know why those people who doesn't want SE phones are posting in this forum complaining so many things against SE phones. Since I don't like Motorola at all (even for free), I never wasted my time to post my dislike for Motorola in MOTO's forum because I respect individual's freedom of choice and I don't want to hurt anyone else who preferred to use Motorola. All of us should be very happy that we, the users, are so many choices to choose from that suits to our requirements. It so happened that SE phone suits what I need from a cellphone, and just like you Moto suits what you need from a cellphone. In our corporate offices, I've seen so many of our executives using Blackberry phones but I find BB nothing special because its feature doesn't suit my need from a cellphone (e.g. camera, video recordng, etc, etc.) Thank you God Bless You!
Anonymous, 19 Jan 2010Soon we will have qwerty and touch in just 9mm+ xenon+android2.1+ 1080p video+HDMI+8MP 1.... moreI hope your source is NOT concept phones. You can find the phone there, and it ti a concept phone, not a real device. If SE will announce that phone(X20) this year, SE will beat Samsung for sure!! :)
