I'm lovin it! The only major gripe was the default SE keyboard but the htc keyboard installation (www.xperiax10.net/2010/04/07/installing-the-htc-keyboard-on-the-xperia-x10/) fixed. Audio quality is very good. Very pleasant. Other smaller issues: it doesn't seem to support push email with the default email client.
When synced with google, downloaded 500+ contacts, 90% of whom i had mailed once(this is google's fault as they automatically add people whom you email to your contacts and there seems to be no way of disabling it). I hated that and had to re-install the firmware, clean up gmail contacts and try again.
Couldn't update the firmware to 016. Came with 014 and keeps saying i already have the latest sofware installed.
Battery life is still average after 2 full charges.
Pros:
Superfast. Absolutely no lags at all, as some people are claiming.
Super fast browsing
Camera is great
Screen is very responsive(except for the default keyboard)
The phone is a lot smaller than what i was expecting to see. It fits comfortably in the hand and feels very thin and solid in the hands.
I have to admit, it has been a really long time since I was so impressed by a phone, the last time being with the K750i.
Hello
This is what I will have in my hand soon, the beast is done, the beauty yet to come to my hands!!!

Hello Windwalker & Mobile master.
Why argue?
No need to worry about memory support, here it says X10 support only up to 16GB, even don't mind if its said as up to 8GB, if it exceeds 8GB that means it supports Micro-SDHC memory cards, for sure it can support up to 32GB according to the standards. My old Motorola Z8 says it supports only up 8GB, but even the 32GB works well with it,
What you have to have is Micro SDHC support, what gsmarena mentions X10 supports 16GB, that means X10 is SDHC supported, every SDHC supported phone can have up to 32GB, 32 upwards not supported, only the data transfer rate will be diferent with class 2,4,6 cards,
Micro SD - 1Gb-4GB
Micor SDHC - 4GB -32GB
For this memory support don't get whats said in gsmarena, most of the time they are not correct

Anonymous, 10 Apr 2010I believe the X10 and Galaxy S are different phone.
I mean, yes are the same but they are c... moregalaxy s will be faster than other 1 ghz phones?
i dont think so because cpu of galaxy s is arm a8(600 mhz)and is overclocked to 1 ghz while x10 cpu is snapdragon and is not overclocked to 1 ghz!
This is the first Android v1.6 powered by 1 GHz Snapdragon processor with 4 in capacitive screen plus 8.1mp camera having 1 GB internal storage with micro SD slot up to 16 GB and comes with great and potential Timescape(tm) and Mediascape(tm). So if sometimes you find it lacks of something that you should get from the high-end devices like this, or you're not satisfied with the performance that you might expected or even you got annoyed by this phone, there is one thing we should remember : This is the first Android v1.6 powered by 1 GHz Snapdragon processor with 4 in capacitive screen plus 8.1mp camera having 1 GB internal storage with micro SD slot up to 16 GB and comes with great and potential Timescape(tm) and Mediascape(tm).
For those who have problems with the battery, it stabilizes after a few charge-discharge cycles. It happened to me that it improved by 100% after a week.
With heavy use, I'm able to work it for about 36 hours now.

As an owner of this phone for no more than a day heres my comment on this phone. what a pile of horse droppings, only said as been told i cant swear.....
I bought this phone because i was told by Vodafone UK that it had VOICE DIALLING. I need this as I spend rather a lot of time in the car, and dont fancy getting nicked for using a mobile while driving.....
It does have VOICE DIALLING, however its the worst Voice Dialling I have EVER SEEN on ANY PHONE. I tried to get it to dial my home number and it wouldnt do it at all. then i reread the instructions and used the +44 prefix and dropped the first digit. Out of 100 attempts to voice dial my own number it worked ONCE. I am told that the voice dialling is set up for the US market and not UK, and an attempt to put on an American accent did get it working but just the ONCE. I'm not prepared to do this everytime I want to dial a number so decided its going back end of story.
Message for Vodafone UK: Wake up and smell the coffee Vodafone. If your going to release this pile of junk on the UK market the least you could do is make sure it works and does what your customer sales reps tell me its supposed to do... Oh and by the way there will be people out there who are reading this and probably suggesting that I'm over reacting. well PERSONALLY I dont think I am.If it did what it said on the box I would not need to post such comments on here!!. By the way The keyboard on it is also not that good if you have BIG fingers , as I do.
I cant really comment on any other features of the phone as its now back in its box waiting for collection, and I hope I never see it again...

I just got mine white X10 2days ago. It been twice I had fully charge the phone, the battery seem to last for 2-3hours only when I'm keep on playing around or Wifi it. Anyone having this problem?? Why can't it last long??? Do you mind check on your setting about the phone, is it stated Model X10i, Firmware 1.6, Baseband V1.0.14, Kernel V2.6.29-rel semc-android@SEMC#2, Build no.R1FA014. I wonder how to check whether it is genuine model / not as I bought it from small mobile stall, which cheaper than Sony store.
