Yes I totally understand where your coming from, and let me tell you that it's not only about the 8.1 mp camera. The pics taken by the x2 are far superior than most of the other handsets specially from samsung and htc.

The lens and sensors are much better in the x2. At least from what I have tried and experienced. But what really makes me attracted to se is not only the camera, it's the hardware and built quality, just hold the x2 or the x10 and see for your self how solid and well made they really are!

Also when it comes to listening to music through the headphones oooh my god !! It's out of this world and I mean it. I have never experienced music this clear and pure ever in my life. I tried several nokias, samsungs, htcs and let me tell you no one beats the xperia series in this area.

So if se fixs the software issues they have, I truly believe we will have a great deal with this wp7 my friend :)

I must also say that wm 6.5 is a buggy os afterall, so microsoft also should be blamed for not releasing a stable software.

It will most probably have an 8 megapixel camera (not confirmed but mostly it will hav atleast 8mp.

And yes that's the reason i'm still sticking with a wm handset because honestly their is something unique about this os. So if wp7 will be as good as u say. I really think we have ourselves a great deal :)

Even the new explorer mobile browser beats iphone and android browsers in many aspects! mainly rendering.
iphone 4 browser is fluid in scrolling and zooming but always gets loading checkerboards.
android 2.2 browser has no checkerboards but choppy scrolling and zooming.
WP7 browser is smooth + no checkernoards!

i am currently using xperia x10 but honestly cant wait for a se wp7 device! just hope they have a keyboard on it and a decent cam. android is great but i personally miss the windows live integration!

oh and lets not forget xbox live gaming on ur phone! awesome!

Regarding the se windows phone 7, yes as far as I know we should have it by the end of the year. So nothing is for sure, we just have to wait a little longer. But let me tell u man thay it will be one of a hell phone! Because it will have the best hardware from se and a brilliant software from microsoft, which is much more better than what we have now.
Rumors say that the software will be as fast as andriod!

Fyi, you can use Jeyo Mobile Companion 2.0. It's nice application, just like Nokia PC Suite. You can backup your contact list and messages. You can make screencapture of your winmo device. Just download from http://www.sorobangeeks.com/

and second-between 524 htc and 528 se big difference-i mean se better in optimizing)
and the third-htc 524 htc hd2-hey man you are fan of htc!

the one minus of x2 it is 528processor(not so fast but i can say enough),and the other that most of people just don't know how to use wind mob and to solve different problems)))
and the last one-i didn't say which is better i just wrote about pluses and minuses)

As far as I know my friend, it's either you choose a default tone or the phone will cut your desired tone when it's on standby mode. Sorry for that!

I remember I got annoyed of this a long time ago, but now I have adapted lol. You can also change the standby mode time by setting it after 3 - 5 mins instead of 1 min for example.

But of course this will consume more battery. So it's your call man :)

Anyway.. I really wanna know.. The X2 doesn't wake itself up for an SMS received (when it is in standby)?.. It does play the tone I set, but only for like, maybe 2 seconds? Its like playing only the first 2 seconds of the 4-minute length music you set it for the message tone.. Not quite what I wanted..

I observed that it would only play the tone/music I set normally & fully when it is NOT on standby.. Yes, I know maybe this could be eliminated by setting a short default SE messaging alert as the tone, which would play normally when phone is on standby.. But If I do have other options I would like to know please?

Or is this just typical of a winmo handset?

there is a massive massive difference in speed. there's no comparison.

the X2 is well know for being a terrible handset, so to compare it to the greatest winmo handset there is (HD2), is a crime.

Hey man long time no see :)

I love the X10 but I will be waiting for the new sony ericsson windows 7 handset. And by then the X10 will get andriod 2.1, so I'll compare and see what is the best for me :)
