Unexpected surprise ?? Because they haven't tested the T610 enough, like always ?? Like they tested the T68i not enough and made one firmware update after the other ?? (which by the way had many many features and a cool standby-time)

To SX1.
The main reason that the T610 has fault is the hiss problem, that problem was unexpected surprise from SE.And SE have realy good solfe that problem.
If it is about faulty phone than must it by Nokia Not Se.

@klaas: Sorry, but i am no employee of SE as you. The brand is SONY-ERICSSON and who tests the phones is not the matter.
Fact is that i know no phone, for which so many firmware updates exist like the t68i. And the start of the T610 with its hissing problem :-)))
Im am very interested which bugs SE plans for the Z1010.

Youre talking bulshit,Ericcson test the phone's not Sony.
Ericsson have a name if it about betatesters,Siemens heave a big troubles with the SX1,this have nothing to do with betatesters.
And SX1 going to lose agains the Nokia 6600 and the 6600 going to lose again the P810 and P200.

It still supports GSM and GPRS data =)..
So even without using the phone to it's maximum, it's still VERY good. Imagine if it did.

3G device ? Has your provider in your country the infrastructure, so you can use it ? And what is the price for this service ? 3-times GRPS or 5 times GRPS ?
Cool feature in about three or five years, when every provider has it and it is affordable !
So you have a feature you cannot use. Great :-)))

The SMS can also on the seconddisplay i think so,so jou dont need open close open close open the clampshell you know.
On the otherhands why don't you buy a P810? if this released, that phone is more advance than any phone on the market.

Re:Klass
I already mentioned that if u need that extra Oof of 3G then get this phone.. Otherwise.. Choose Siemens.. 3G is so ex in Aust.. Wait till it comes to Spore.. It isn't practical for a normal user anyway.. & I don't really like clamshell phones.. Irritating when u have to sms..Open/Close/Open/Close. Later u sms half-way the lid drop out.. Lolz..Having a phone with less moving parts is safer & increases the life span of the phone..
