I just can say, Sonyericsson has done good job, nice design phone with all the functionality and off course this phone very2 affordable...

And for the mp3player fans, for the card slot fans, for the mega-pixel fans, for 3G fans, i am so sorry to say "Don't give comment to this phone if u don't like it"

Actually, in Australia (a very developed country) Motorola sells the W220 at an overpriced price on PAYG due to the design. Its price is about double the price of other phones with similar specs, and Sony Ericsson does not overprice their phones.

The K310 is at the same price as the W220 on PAYG.

is it message alert type included in Profile (you can create for each profile different message alert type and when switching profiles the message alert is automaticaly switch according to profile) or when you change profiles (for example from standard to outdoors) you have to extra change the message alert type? (SE Z520i has this big minus)

this will not be nearly as cheap as Motorola W220 and W375. those are meant to be bottom of barrel, ultra cheap for developing markets.

this competes with the Motorola V195 and V191. at least for now, they'll be upgraded soon.

jeez ppl if you don't like it don't buy it... it-a great phone for those wich cannot aford a state of the art piece. and btw mobile phones are for talking with people. they are not portable HDD's or MP3 players, or recordin devices... if you want 5 mp go buy you're self a cannon or a HP. AH!!!

Let me just reiterate that for those whiny individuals who keep bashing the phone and keep saying such things like "why doesn't it have a card-slot?", "why doesn't it have better a better camera?", "why doesn't it have a bigger memory?" and other such non-sense. May i remind you that this phone was specifically made for people on a tight budget (read: consumers who do not have as much spending money as you do). If you do not like the phone, then don't buy or use it, don't even diss it if you don't own one.

Don't expect to see a lot of features for the amount this phone is being offered. It's like buying a Kia Pride and expecting it to run like a Porche then ranting about its performance. From an economic point of view, it doesn't make sense and it's downright stupid. Parts and features where sacrificed to make it affordable. And for a budget consumer's product this is a good phone and a solid purchase.

Use your brain for a change and think about that before you start complaining.

this does not sound worth the hassel id rather wait 4 the sony ericsson LI & AI does any 1 know were you can find more info on these 2 handsets due out nxt year?

Its a good phone. But not having a card slot =O is a big no-no.

Nothing wrong with this phone except there's nothing that good about it. You can already find this type of phone with the same features from Motorola , Nokia , Samsung ...
Still competition is good. Too bad it doesn't have a card slot. The Motorola V360 does and it's pretty cheap.

If the phone is priced low, then its good. This phone is meant for those who really needs the basic features such as an MP3 player and a camera at a very low price.

This phone is for someone who already owns an Ipod, a digital camera & a PDA.
That's nothing wrong with a phone like this.

so little features yet it's so thick. 25mm?! is SE the only phone maker who hasn't heard of miniaturization? even nokia now making slim phones.

This phone looks great, nice work SE! No card slot (nor FM) are deal breakers though. Please make a 'W310' based on this SE, please please please please please. If SE does make one and prices it just like the W300, it's gonna be a huge hit, no doubt about it.

to sef , i strongly support you , this foen is a class ! though the features are not that great lets be studdy guys its a fone 4 ppl who a tight budget but it it got more than "basic features" lets agree with that ! good job sony ericsson

to renzo , u aint got any taste at all < u shud see that this fone is not meant for hogh class ppl its for those who got a tight budget !!! if u want a class foen with a "memory card slot" then go for another model
