Oh, and since we are talking about a BUDGET PHONE, the only real BUDGET PHONE I can think of is PANASONIC SA7
($200 at http://www.mobilebee.com)
It's been one year since that phone was released but even a year ago the price was not bad -$300 from the same source.
-2MP Sensor (by Panasonic!!! not by Nokia)
-Normal screan
-Normal battery
-Bluetooth
-Mature design!
ALL FOR $200!
That's a budget phone!

STN=Garbage quality color screan.
Also it's a joke to have a VGA camera in a cell phone today.
BUDGED PHONE?
This phone shouldn't have camera at all and no color screan at all, and instead must have a high resolution monochrome screan, must be thicker (to handle normal battery for bluetooth). Then, it would be a real stylish, mature budget phone!
UNTILL THEN
no budget phones here!

This is meant for those who have tight budget of buying a stylish phone with average features,.. for those who says it's ugly; they have no taste-for sure they were nokia 61xx hardcore fans who sticks to their boring and similar designed models...
-admit that this clamshell isa a bit fatter than 6085 ones,. but having a critical look, this far impresses than the latter one and it's other series' design concepts...
yeah it has no card slot, but bear in mind that putting card slot will increase it's price and also competes the sales of z550 and z558 and w300/z530.. SE has a know-how to manage their sales in their units, without sacrificing quality and features and competing with their other series's target market... and they didn't forgot their tight-budgeted loyalist and buyers,.. that's the best strategy ever on a mobile company to increase their sales and to benefit all their costumers...

Exterior design looks a little more conservative than the z610. But I believe it'd be more practical also.

Sony Ericsson would have got me with this phone if only they added a card slot for extra memory and possibly a half decent camera. Looks nice and good as a budget phone but seriously what can people do with 14 MB?

not bad for a low end model considering how many other low end models other manufacturers are churning out that don't even have basic connectivity options, a step in the right direction as far as i'm concerned

So ****** ugly, i cant understand how someone can say that nokia makes uglyer than these. Well soon nokia will hit their "ultra thin"-models and people will go crazy. Even now nokia makes the most beauty phones for ex look the e60.. The LG chocolade is everything else than good looking.
I rather buy phone with metal than a crap like this with something shiny plastic on it.

well this phone is targeted mainly at da female consumer ......... hardly any guy will be noticed sporting this particular model
as far as da spec sheet goes most of da guys will b dissapointed as this is just a stylish phone with most basic features .
also not much of style though because these days thin is da way to go in fashion fones
and for da ppl cribbing bout da vga camera , sony vga cams r way better than megapixel cams of moto and nokias
