Yes, something is always wrong with the screen. I love the phone, but I can't call out or can't see who's calling in due to the messed up screen.

I noticed that people are having problems with the screen on this phone. Can you please tell me if all these phones belonged to Circular or AT & T. Did anyone have problems with this phone from fido. Thanks

Can you please post how the flex cable is disconnected on the back side? I figured out the front (lcd display side), but not sure on the other end, and don't want to break the flex cable. I'm taking the cable from another Z525a that does not work in order to repair one that has a white screen. Thanks

ya thats so bad i fixed the screen once and now it has same problem again. dont buy it coz it will cost double its price to fix as it go down after just after u finish ur garantee

my friend have this phone and it has problem with screen-it's white and don't show anything. i love this phone but now i'm kinda frightened to buy it. the phone is great but it misses m2 slot and beter screen.

I think ur whitescreen problem is over ^^ cuz i think ur problem is the flex cable of ur lcd just lyk mine they replaced my flex cable of my lcd when i experienced d same problem so bring ur celfone 2 ur service center or celfone repair shop .^^

> In reply to PC @ 2008-08-29 15:33 from 0hAW - click to readi recently had the same problem b/c the LCD screen has died..to replace it with a new screen was not worth it so I bought a damaged phone with a known working screen off Ebay and got the LCD screen swapped. caution..note your IM number,keep all parts and check that the memory in phone is the correct one..This is the cheapest and easiest option as I tried to follow the manual to back up sim but the manual is not set out like Nokia phones. Hope this helps

Hi, my display screen is out, and I need the steps to save mmory to my SIM card from the point of unlocking the phone (I am able to blindly unlock the security feature, but the directions in the forum is for saving the memory without the security engaged - I made a few unattended call:0)Can anyone help me please?

good phone for it segment, got it for 2 years now but about to buy new phone because of beter features.
+design
+batterylife
+cool light effects
+camera(for vga)
-small memory
-annoying sidebutton(takes accidentily pics)

Got the white-screen-of-death the other day out of the blue. Have had the phone for several years. I had to order a different phone and hope the contacts were saved to the sim card using the map menu mentioned a few pages in. If that fails I may open it up and see if the flex ribbon is damaged. They are running about $8 total on Ebay.

Other than that the phone was pretty solid for about 3 years. Speaker phone not as loud as I would have liked. Tiny memory for pics and calendar, had to constantly dump pics. Camera constantly being turned on by accident because of side button and I would have to clear out like 15-20 pics of nothing that were eating up my memory. Pre-loaded pics, themes and junk that I could not dump was kinda crappy.

Pretty good signal. My battery seemed pretty good.
