hey dave, how were you able to record 15 mins of video? i can only record 12 seconds!grr.. isn't it that the "fine" setting refers to the picture quality and not to the video? thanx!
anyway, this phone is really cute altho i wish it had a bigger memory considering it can save mp3s and and fm radio would be great also.

Strongly recommended for those that they like a simple, nice and practical mobile. Soundtech Cyprus is selling Sony Ericsson Z520i since September and it is an excellent mobile and mostly one of the best choices for the ladies. It comes with a cloth cover and also another extra plastic cover. So we are expecting more beautiful colors. By the way, the Bluetooth is an excellent feature on low o midrange mobiles. If you are a guy, buy it for your lady!

it lasts for aslong as you need, all you have to do is change your video settings to fine! ive recorded for over 15 minutes and it would have kept on going if i needed more.

i have just purchased this phone on o2, i have to say the quality for the money i paid is excellent. if your all going on about its only a vga camera well its not the phone for you! i only wanted to spend around £100 on a new phone and its more than i expected. if you dont like the membory and want to play mp3s on this phone then dont buy it! by the way the vga camera is still great, im only a casual user of the camera and when i need it, its perfect.

Gary: Yes, you can set up the phone to ring and light up simultaneously when a call comes in.

looks alrite, not too shabby. curently own the z600. didn't read thru all 5 pages, but what i skimmed thru was informative. based on what i skimmed.. don't think i came across the question of 'whether or not u can have the lite turned on as phone rings'? that'd be just a tad too damn flashy for me if it ain't capable of doing so. damn.

Tahnk you for some of the comments & suggestion on the battery issues.
Well, some phone mfg are very good in over stating the battery life. They also add the phase:- "Battery performance may vary depending on network and phone usage". It is like telling you on the cigratte pack that SMOKING KILLS. Buy it at your own risk!!
I think there should be an organization to control the "LIES" by the phone mfg.
Anyway, come to think about it. I made my decision to buy this phone, I have no regrets.

i am thinking about getting this phone but i would like to know:
how long can you record a video for? (max video length)
roughly how many pics/names etc can be stored?
is the battery rly that bad? - i'll only use it for about an hour a day.
what are the zoom and camera modes like? (esp night mode)

out. I was using the phone for gaming, video & photo capture, playing the media player functions, and of course, talking with friends.

i think if u use that much then its normal if it drains quickly... do u use it really often? just try to let it standby... then see how long it can last
