I plan to buy this phone as soon as I have the budget and as soon as it is released in the Philippine market. I think it's a good buy. It has a little of everything, so to speak. I mean can't you guys see that phone manufacturers don't lump all the features customers want in a single phone? Otherwise, their other, and I should add "lesser" phone models would suffer. Therefore, what phone manufacturers do is to distribute all the good features among all their phones to even out sales. In short, you can't have it all in one phone! There's no such thing as a phone which has it all! Based on my objective assessment of the SE Z520 (I've been researching on a lot on phones from Siemens, Nokia and Samsung too), I honestly think it's a good buy. Store only your favorite MP3s, pictures and videos if the memory's what's freaking you out. After all, it's a cellphone -- it oughta be used for calling out/receiving calls and for sending/receiving text messages. The camera and video functions are just accessories/secondary features. If your focus is on pictures and videos, you don't need a cellphone. Buy a digital camera and a digital video recorder instead. Final Judgment:The Z520 would be an excellent buy.
wow, wow, SE, you are great.. a great flip phone thanks God with no stupid antena and ugly face.. also it's superbly low price...exchangable covers are a plus... it'll definitely rock the market... also a good piece of memory installed... :)
How can you call Sony Ericsson crap? They are by far better than Nokias and thats a fact because I have done my research.
Nowadays Nokia are also making new phones and leaving out vital features...infact they do it much more than Sony Ericcsons, Sony Ericssons also have better quality features and smaller sized phones.
So you may think Sony Ericsson is crap but currently they are the leading phone brand in the world...for proof do your research...this phone Z520i is a decent phone with good features...
Some people say this phone is crap however i think its rather a decent phone it has most of the latest features it looks sexy and its brand new, true say the 16mb is dissapointing but you can;t call this phone crap unless you say you think it's crap because everyone is entitled to an opinion...
I really like the design of this phone. Much better than the Z600. I have my dedicated mp3 player, so I don't bother having only 6MB onboard. I can also live with the "only" VGA camera.
i have to say i love this phone
it is nice to see a low level phone with bluetooth and changeable covers
the 16mb memory is a little dissappointing but apart from that it is a great little phone which i cannot wait to buy
well done se
I will never understand sony ericsson.... the phone has 16MB....and a MP3 player with no card slot!!!, thats like 4-5 songs???, and cant sony ericsson make compact clamsheels or are they just out of date crap?
Good to finally see another 850 compatible phone. Low to mid-level by European/International standards, this is a fresh of breath air for a feature & 'cell fashion' starved US/Canada market.
This phone is design to fill the gap SE have in the middle to low market and the reson why there profits have been dropping for the last couple of quaters.
what happen to the new batch of SE phones... it seems that W600, S600 and Z520 have in common is no card slot expansion...well goodluck...
Good phone, but no memory card slot and only have 16MB internal memory. It is also a heavy phone which weight 110g.
Looks like a very nice phone... if only they implemented the features of the K750 / W800 into it. Then it would be a step forward. In this case, with only 16MB memory, compared to today's standards, it's no good. Probably a good starter phone for youths. Can be called, " a better Z200".
It seems very boring. VGA camera and 16mb internal memory... Is this a foldable k500? Not that stylish either.
Finally..... quad Band....Nice Design. Camera could be better and Adding some More Memory shouldn't be any harm....at the end Quad band, and white color makes it ma fav.
