I have to say this is a decent phone. I have this phone a few years back and never failed. It really depends on how people use their phone because when I bought a new one and gave it to my sister it easily broke down after few months. Anyway I miss that little screen outside of the clamp shell. I use to put a picture of me and my girlfriend on it. :-D

2 yrs ago I bought my new 2nd cellphone then it broke in less than a year. Then I went back to my old cell which this Sony Ericsson Z525(i had this since it came to the market). It's very old but still work like new. Few months ago I bought a Blackberry (So I put away my old Sony Ericsson). 2 weeks ago my blackberry just broke on me, I didnt even drop it or something. Now Im back to my old cell-Sonny Ericsson. LONG LIVE THE SONY ERICSSON Z525!!!!

My friend Serena has this phone but she lost it and now she cant find it she says she hates it and it is useless but i think it is quite good for and old Sony Ericsson phone what do you think?

I bought a new cellphone last year and now it's just garbage it doesn't work anymore. I went back to my old phone which is the this sony ericsson z525 that I had bought when it was first arrived in the market and still work as new. the only thing i need to replace is the body coz it tooooo OLD. Great phone.

I have this phone for over 5 years and I had drop it dozen times and it still working till now. Wow it's amazing it last longer than I thought.

This phone was just want I needed for 4 years (just like others) and is now turning off. I missed calls and had no way of knowing it. One thing -- I was always careful and had never dropped the phone until about a week ago, on concrete. No marks though and it seemed to work fine. Now this.

In checking on the web, other Ericsson models appear to have the same problem and some have been recalled. Iphone here I come.

This phone I got about four years ago I had to send it back once due to the screen part of the phone being loose and now it turns itself off. It doesn't matter what I am doing with it. I don't like this phone! I would not recommend it to anyone!

There are no words to describe how much I adore this phone. One of the best items I've ever purchased. It's still great after over 3 years of use.

I got this phone 3 years ago and loved it till the screen went white. The screen would flip nonstop and then it just went black and wouldnt work. So i sent it back and they sent me another one. Within 3 months it did the exact same thing. I got a new phone which I liked but i lost the battery, so my friend gave me his spare phone which happened to be the same Z525 model. I am now dealing with a white/flipping screen once again. I hate this phone with a burning passion and would NEVER recommend it to anyone.

good: its soo simple, easy, cheap and has all the things you need (blue tooth, camera, video etc)

bad: it turns of randomly even when fully charged

hi, i bought this phone and it did not work. unfortunately i got the "White Screen of Death" i hate this phone and would not reccommend it for anyone

i tried to copy my phone book to my sim (i also have the WSOD ) but i may have locked my phone. everytime i push the 'enter' button, it gives out a 'do-do, dit-do' tone. help!

I loved this phone. It was easy to navigate and soft on the hands. My family got 4 because they were all free with our plan. An all 4 phones, the flip function was faulty as they all went blank! They all just got white eventually and we had to navigate with our memory until we got a new one! Overall we had it for about 2yrs until they gradually started dying one by one. It's not good for texting.

i had this phone absolutly loved it 2 bits cldnt have been better then i got wasted an dropped it in a pint just another thing alcohol has taken from me

i had this phone.. its great .. one of the best .. BUT

* it don't support memory cards and its memory only 16 MB!
* the screen went white 3 times in 4 years of usage.. and the last time the agency didn't have spare parts for it.. and still don't.....
