Wow.. That is a simple word that i can describe for this phone.. FOR MYR 550.00(malaysian ringgit) == or 157.00 USD.. it is simply superb.
The level of user-friendliness is very out standing.. Comparing to MOTOROLA L6 & L7.. this phone is much more better.
The speaker of the phone is muchly fair, it could not beat W550i.
The camera setting is simple and easy to understand. Only thing, it is not a good camera under low-light condition. It has plenty of noise under low-light condition.
The UBC screen is considered okay, almost as good as TFT.. :) Believe me..
I would encourage those who wants a simple phone that has, camera, bluetooth, infrared, expandable memory with an average budget. To go for this phone..

Is this phone 3g because in the carphone warehouse website it says it has orange 3g.And one more favour which should I buy the Motorola e770v or this phone. Please reply

interpolation means extending the picture size and resolution to a larger one. but not increasing the quality of the image, the phone camera is 640x480 (VGA) when interpolated, it will become 1280x960(1.3megapixel) this feature is already seen with k700 and later models with VGA cameras...

This phone is great but the 24MB internal memory is not enough to store all my MP3..

Hi, my wife just got one of this. Turns out to be a good phone for a bargain.
-Sound speaker are ok, though not overly fine but good enough to well support the MP3 player feature.
-The animation of switching in-between icons at the main menu are nice, making this one an eye catcher.
-Buttons layout and style are a bit odd -- quite feminine imho. SInce it also comes with 1 extra casing for you to swap. My wife got the silver and black one.
-The package does not include handsfree/headset.
-Battery life is good, though used for gaming and MP3 player, it can hold roughly for 3 days.
-The only downfall, i think, is the camera snap quality. Really bad, the result has many noises on the image, does not reflect a "mega-pixel" quality camera.
Many better ones can be found easily elsewhere, but this one has its satisfaction for the feature-price ratio.

in my package only an additioanl style-up TM cover but very pretty smooth black cover.

I think this is the best one for user who prefer flip phone which is cheaper and has most of the features as other expensive sony ericson..and the good thing is, it has memory stick which is very hard to find flip phone with memory stick in good value,good features..anyone can affort it.Although the camera only 1.3 mp but still its good..if not,how come sony ericson make w300i which exactly 80% same design as this phone ;)

i am planning to buy this mobile for its features but can somebody tell does this mobile play video in fullscreen mode like k600i and........
It will be helpfull if someone gives the major difference between z530 and k600i other than 3g,display type and fm radio
