i understand why the phone has no ir, look at all brands, most of them doesnt have ir but bluetooth, and another is that most popular nokia phones are not having ir except the n80 and later models.. but nokia will pull out that decision of bringing back that feauture later, so maybe it's goodbye to ir :-( but i think SE will not do it...

OMG i really love the design of this phone .. It's simple design (especially the keypad )really makes it nice to look at !!!!

tarantula is right. this phone is the tribute to the SE of SEs, the t610. remember the time it hits market. it spreads widely and popularity is very enormous. and this phone is feature-packed just like t610 in it's time before. now SEs design gets better and better. and features are still stunning!

But Z600s resolution is only 128*160 pixels, Z550 has better screen and have more colors (262K) than Z600

I really like the design and the fuctionality ..
but there is a major draw back .. I think :
Although the screen is 176x 220 pixels , the size is just 30 X 37 mm !!! Thats way too small !!! Even my SE Z600 has a bigger screen than that !

This phone looks great, the black version reminds me the glorious T610, I love T610 and now i use it and my W800. SE is a great phone maker!!!

Nice design but no Infrared which a must feature for me. Is it the first time for SE handset with Bluetooth but no Infrared?

Not a bad fone actually, has gd features, but mem card is practically unknown and two expensive,better than the previous phones in the same series, well done sony ericsson, gd 4 da masses...
