naming this phone as Z555 is no incident, since technically it looks almost the same as Z550i. I have z550i, and im kinda happy with it - nice design, simple, durable phone (has withstanded a lot of abuse),super practical external lcd display that has excellent readability in any sunlight comparing to colour displays, mp3 player, but its getting old. when I saw the picture of z555 i though wow, might consider this to replace z550, but its too much the same. they could at least improve the camera. now i have to wait for other phone... :(

Nice design...
Even though it may not have a lot of feature, I like this phone. I was thinkiing of getting a second phone. I already have the K800i, and I was confusted between another SE or a Nokia. I think I would have to say the Z555, strikes the right note as a second phone.

The Gesture control is very good. The Sony Ericsson Z555 incorporates Sony Ericsson's handy Gesture Control, letting you easily mute the phone or snooze its alarm without having to interrupt what you're doing. When a call comes in, a simple movement of your hand back and forth over the phone mutes the ringtone. Similarly, sweep your hand over the phone when using it as your alarm clock to put it into ‘snooze' mode. Works like magic!

Beeeeeeppppp....., I've read the official PR too, but there is no information whether this phone will be able to record clips.
