please, please release this phone...i've been waiting for it for a month now. I already made some of my research about this phone...comparison and al..and ended up....on sony ericson Z750.

IMHO. for those who always complain on SE's marketing strategy, complaining always is not good for yourself if you keep going on the negative sides of a coin. note that SE is trying it's best to give you the quality you needed the most, stable battery, good price and depreciation value, good features and communication and multimedia, isn't this what matters most to all of you? if you want the features of a nokia then go for it, but never return complaining about the issues of that side then.
anyway SE has bunch of accessories for your style. because people have different lifetyle and tastes SE decided to diverse it's products functionality similar and looks wise so people can use the accesories to express their own taste and style while having the "same" functions with other models in different design that suits the target consumer of it. maybe this is what is hardly understandable with peoples who want this and that. so they end up disappointed always that seems that they are always unsatisfied with things. too bad for them. for me it's only a "matter of taste" and i think this is what SE, Moto, nokia and samsung is doing right now.

I had the z610i for about 2 months and loved it, except for a few things: First, the screen size and resolution was too low = problem solved with the z750i. Second, considering how absolutely gorgeous the front ofthe phone looked, the back (including battery cover) looked and felt quite cheap. I really hope its a bit better this time around (maybe some of that soft touch coating like on the old e398 or the nokia 6131 haha). And finally, although I'm completely aware of SE's marketing strategy to not put autofocus and flash(led)in certain phones so they won't compete with the cybershot line, it would still be so nice on this one. SO glad they improved the screen. HOPE they improved the backing. No biggie about the AF in the camera (but flashlght option would still be nice, i really use it alot). Either way, I'm still buying it as soon as it coms out! Cheers! and for those of you who care, happy 420!

the phone you are talking about thats on sale already is not this one. It is the older model Z610i.

i think the one out in israel is prob the z610. NOT THIS.. since this is touchscreen. they look identical though.

Wonderful color i dreamt of having a phone with such color from sony ericsson long time ago .. BUT i can buy it if only it has some enhanced features like : it must have outside screen to show the caller identity + also it should have outside botton to keep the ringing to scilent or answer the call if i want to without having to open the phone to know who is calling and then decide to answer or to keep the rining to scilent .. If only it has these 2 features i would be crazy about bying it

since this is the first JP-8 enabled phone from SE it will simply competes with 5700 in terms of developing applications with java with it's even number of APIs with 5700.

it's already in sale, at least in israel, it doesn't have touchscreen like it says

Would people stop asking the difference between the Z750i and Z610i. They are in the same shell. The key differences are as follows
-Z750i has a 2.2" 240x320 screen vs the Z610i 1.9" 176x220 screen
-Z750i has QuadBand 850/900/1800/1900 with EDGE and TriBand UMTS 850/1900/2100 with HSDPA upgraded speed while the Z610i is only 900/1800/2100 GSM/GPRS (no EDGE) and 2100 regular UMTS no HSDPA.
-Z750i has the new SE UI which uses send end keys and gets rid of the back key.
