it is very good fone , sound not loud , no flash , but good size , nice design and wieght , good screen , wonerfull price ( 600 egyptian pounds ~ 105 US$ ) flash files working on it ( like mushaf algwal v 1 with no sound )
sound may be equal to K800 , camera not so good , no autofocus no flash

no, it does not have the sleep clock on, have to press the volume button so you'll be able to see what's on the screen..
i have this phone for a month already, im satisfied with it, because it's a clamshell and it's s.e. actually, it has the functions of other s.e phones like the k810 though it's cam is only 2mp, but in general, they're the same. i'll rate it as 7.75/10.(hehe)
the only flaw i've been encountering is it's kinda slow during text messaging, and there are times when you keep on texting, it will just hang and then it will turn off then on on its own.
but still, if you're just the type who is contented with a simple, elegant, text and call functions satisfied, this is one of the mid-end phones i would recommend you.

When the phone is closed, does the time stay displayed on the external screen, or does a button have to be pushed to see it?
In other words, does it have the "Sleep clock" function?

this phone is fine i'm using it from 2 months and i feel like it's super good i'm using as 3G modem also i'm using it as normal phone and the performance is good as expected from Sony Ericsson no less
and about using is as 3G modem you need to ask your provider to support you.
